| Have started playing on VITA and according to the last trophy I unlocked I'm at the midway point. Seems decent enough and I can see why peeps like those Skelton's but still not sure why Jay for instance put on his best games ever list once. |

Mother/Earthbound withdrawal. Nah, with time now passing by I could probably see myself putting at the bottom end of a top 25 list after a replay - the writing and music really is top notch - but I was tripping hard putting that in my top 5 or whatever. |

| You should play Reverie, Jay
Is there a easy way to get back to town or do I go back naturally? |

| I'd imagine you've probably already found this out, but I think there's a boat you can ride to a few different areas of the game to effectively fast travel around the world. |

| Me, me, I did!
It's launched at a pretty bad time for considering I'm properly stuck into two pretty lengthy titles on Switch right now, but I definitely need to give chapter two a look once I'm finished with those. I'm surprised it's free again! I was expecting a small fee for this one. |

| I should've known. I think chapters 3-5 are going to be paid. We've started it: it's more Deltarune, which is pretty good! Less character development this time around so far, which is fine because Suzie's still great. |

| I never played Deltarune because I feel like I need to give UT a little more time, but that time never presented itself.
I have a student who is obsessed with Undertale and Sans in particular, so I get to hear Megalovania hummed at least once a week, and little skeleton guys drawn all over my things, so maybe I should get on it and add a little more to my side of the conversation . . . |

| With the announcement of this getting ported pretty quickly to Switch, I ended up adding a third game to my currently playing line-up. I rattled through Chapter One to ensure I had a save to port across and played the opening section of Chapter Two. I was very satisfied that I managed to beat the secret boss in Chapter One on my first try this time around as he handed my arse to me for a fair wee while on my first playthrough.
Nothing much to say about Chapter Two at this point beyond noticing that there's definitely signs of a more ambitious and lengthier overall game getting implemented. Things like recruiting spared enemies to the home town, the crafting/item fuse shop and adding things like item storage are proof of that, I'd say. More thoughts to come! |

| I'm also playing through it, slowly, albeit I started it on Steam so have continued it on Steam. The one thing I love about Toby Fox's games is how you can interact with everything - coming off Eastworld where half of what looks like it should have flavour text attached is just set decoration (albeit really pretty set decoration), that's a big plus. Not sold on the act's villain, it must be said - but did like the first boss. |

Totally - it's why I think Toby Fox is the only developer I've seen properly nail that atmosphere you get in exploring new areas in the Mother series. I enjoyed how he even updated the flavour text in Kris's house in Chapter One compared to Chapter Two. Still can't believe he's giving all this away for free so far! |

| I think UT made mad money, and he's just one dude who seems happy to keep himself to himself, so I guess at this point he could happily do this as a hobby forever. |

| I also wouldn't be surprised getting some money from Nintendo, Sony to have Deltarune Chapter 2 free at least, seeing how been promoted by both of them. |

| That, or he's just reeling us in before smacking us with a £50 bill for chapters 3-5. |

Toby Fox was on record saying that it'll "definitely cost more than Undertale" which isn't saying much considering UT is pretty cheap. I'd expect somewhere in the region of £20-30, probably. Also... - only read if you've finished Chapter 2:
There's going to be 7 chapters anyway...
I'm keen to get into some spoilery chat with folks about this! How's the progress going Balla? |

| I'm playing it in co-op (i.e. Lady reads story and lets me blunder into enemy attacks), so it's all about picking our times. A way to go I'm afraid! I think we (read: I) just beat the boss on the rollercoaster. |

| Aye, I'd say you're only about a third of the way through it. I'll keep my spoilery thoughts till then as I'll just be shouting into the void posting about them now. |
