| Well it's a bonus prediction that Nintendo will have some sort of paid for service. |

Surprised to see no NX predictions form you Zero also anyone think that the new account system maybe paid for like Xbox Live & PSN but we get free VC games. I did say it was barely a prediction, Pokémon Z. I didn't feel that it had been formally announced when I wrote my reply, at least... As for no NX predictions, I just thought I'd take a look at other Nin2016 prospects instead. |

| Yeah, it would probably be a really good game.
I don't dislike any of the swordy guys in Smash individually, but it feels like there are bloody loads of them now. |

| Oh - Muss wins! I really should read the 2015 one, but... er...
In an act of self-importance I've italicised the #bantz
Nints Zelda U to be pretty good; reviewed initially as slightly disappointing compared with recent open world games, but in retrospect will be praised for the quality over quantity (that's right, I'm doing 2019 predictions too) Twiglet Pancakes HD to also be really good, given the way the other Zelda remakes have been handled. The amiibo wolf link feels really tacked on though. Turns out it generates a wolf partner who's also only a wolf because of the curse - spoilers: it's Captain Syrup from Wario Land Starfox 0 to be a bit disappointing - despite the extra time, and the cool #bantz between the crew, the controls will still have one piece of mandatory jarring motion control. NX to be revealed at E3, resulting in this reaction. All those Japanese games that are coming over. They'll be pretty good - but I can't tell them apart so *shrug* NX version of Zelda U - French Horn of Shadows to be flipped from the Wii U version in the same manner as Twilight Princess, but it makes sense given that the NX's primary controller is a french horn. OMG A NEW F-ZERO GAME
Sonny Jim Still winning sales-wise Uncharted 4's exactly what you'd expect. That's not an insult, just a first-world privelege reaction of "... yeah" You will see NOTHING of Final Fantasy VII or Shenmue 3 The Last Guardian does come out, but unfortunately its long development cycle results in this reaction. Dreams to flop mega-big-time; everyone remembers that Little Big Planet level creation was a chore, and having to worry about this in 3D isn't worth it. No Man's Sky to be eventually disappointing. If the programmers don't know what most of the planets will turn out like, the answer is: very similarly to the other planets. Rare Replay is, somehow, only a timed exclusive on the XO and comes out on PS4. Microsoft you done ballsed up The toning down of Street Fighter V's more lurid animations is a slight sneak to us social justice Westeners; in the Japanese version, Rainbow Mika's buttons are geared up in 3 sets of 2 - kicks, punches and Other Bits Horizon Zero Dawn to do well, and also have 4 sequels announced at E3: Zero Dawn Horizon; Dawn Horizon Zero; Absolution Revelations Judgement Destiny; Dawn French
Microsoft Word Crackdown 3 will be great. WOAH WHAT A HOT TAKE Fable Legends, despite in all fairness being a side-story, will be a disappointment and grind the franchise into dust in most people's minds. Uh... I don't have a lot of opinions here Muss already did the joke I was going to do about Peter Molyneux telling everyone he's not talking to them
What else Virtual Reality headsets to be BOOM in 2016 - bust in 2017 when everyone realises games are a chore after 5 minutes. And you can't see/hear your mum come in if you're watching VR rudeness. Yooka-Laylee to come out to universal nostalgic weepy-eyed critical acclaim! Please?! Dark Souls 3 is good, but we all agree it's time to stop - there's a little drying of the well of creativity. Awesome Ostrich: Uxbridge Jug to have a demo of the first level before the designer gets bored |

The Last Guardian will be the best game of 2017. |

| I doubt it would of been though, also I don't think it was ever planned for 2013. I still got high hopes for it but going by my predictions something getting delayed out of the holiday season and The Last Guardian is kinda the most likely but I would sooner have Horizon delayed as it's the one in development the least and that could be a huge series that the first needs to come out with a bang. |

| Not necessarily, there are plenty of games with not amazing first games but ridiculously good second games. Assassin's Creed is an obvious example.
The point about TLG is that it has been in development for far too long and those games tend not to be too good... I certainly can't see it being better than something like The Witcher 3 or Bloodborne. |

I'm comparing TLG more to SotC & Ico two fantastic games and will it life up to those games, I doubt it will be as good as some games of 2015 & others comign this year but I don't think it needs to be. |

I don't think there's anything wrong with what Andy said there - Creed 1 is a decent enough game but Creed 2 is absolutely phenomenal and sold me on the series for several years until Creed 3 shat the bed. |

| If you're on about the first game, whilst I'd disagree, I'd say it's not a totally outlandish statement. I have to disagree on the series as a whole - II, Brotherhood and Black Flag are excellent games. |

| To be fair, I've not played a lot of II. I also forgot Black Flag, but in my defence that was good in spite of being an Assassin's Creed game. The rest really are shite though. |

| I don't know if my enjoyment of II was heightened by the fact it improves on its predecessor in nearly every way. I just bought them all on PS3 for about a tenner, so I'll see if that's the case when I replay them.
Back on topic - I predict there will not be a mainline Creed game this year. There's been rumblings of this already, but I think they're going to take a much needed year away from the series. |
