Y'all need to find Jesus. Also, we're not talking the crappy Mayonnaise you people have in the west. Japanese Mayo is da bomb.

Mayo is superb! I don't think I've ever had it in mash but I could see it being good.

Mayo is very good in mash, as mayo is good with anything really.

Mayo is one of the worst condiments. I'm willing to admit that Japanese mayo might be more palatable though.

This was got a lot of comments etc on Facebook as I was asked to post my dinner when I said I didn't have spuds but rice instead.
Now everyone thinks I'm mad but no one has given me an alternative to spuds instead of my rice.

Like parsnips or turnip instead? I'd imagine another root vegetable like that would do the trick.

Bread's a decent shout, people have roasts with bread sauce. Just not a fan of spuds Mas? Even the people I know who're most ambivalent to potatoes can usually stomach a few roasties.
That said, good to see you've got the pig in blanket and Yorkshire pudding. Both excellent parts of British cuisine.

Well, okay, it was more like three weeks ago than yesterday but . . . here's the Hunter's Bar in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

That looked quality! Also got a good laugh from you eating the food MH style & Matt thinking you were going to call him a cuck.

I love how he recoiled in fear as he expected to get called a cuck. Poor guy.
Great video Lukey boy. I live vicariously through those videos and this might have been the most jealous I've felt watching one of your food vlogs yet. That Kirin dessert looked incredible! The problem I'd have with all those expertly crafted dishes is that I'd feel bad eating them considering the amount of work gone into making them look cool.

I had no reservations about tucking into the grub, but maybe I'm a little spoiled for that kind of stuff at this point.

He and I have both gotten really bad for it- calling eachother cucks and/ or quoting Alex Jones all the time.

Ah that sounded nice! I'm pleased it felt welcoming - a lot of fancy unique places like that make one feel a bit inferior. And it looked like proper food as well!

Nah, that's pretty rare in Japan. Customer Service and Politeness are super important to people, so you're made to feel welcome everywhere. The only exceptions might be very small, cheap places run by one or two folks who feel uncomfortable because they don't know how to serve foreigners, or super fancy expensive restaurants but I only ever go to those on business trips.

This may as well just been a simple wafer biscuit because it didn't taste like anything, not green tea matcha or white chocolate which is apparently two of it's main ingredients. I was expecting a weird after taste to happen while eating it but it just never happened, if you like plain wafer biscuits then fire away otherwise you should avoid this.

Huh, that's really surprising. The various kinds of green tea kit kat over here are delicious, and have a fairly strong flavour. I guess Nestle chickened out on taking that flavour west?

Aye thats weird if they have as they could've easily just gone for a more universally appealing flavour that Japan has like strawberry or banana.

If they're doing it for the weeb appeal, as the packaging would suggest, green tea makes sense but they should have gone whole hog.

First had these about 3 or 4 days ago but got more yesterday because they are by far the best instant noodles, the only downside is the portion seems quite small.

We need a picture of Drunka eating those (or superior authentic Japanese versions) just so we can make 'Sobalilly' jokes.
