• but they've replaced the nuts with "cinnamon crunch"
  
• but it doesn't actually taste of cinnamon
  
• and is unexpectedly hard, it's not crunchy like a biscuit would be
  
• They should've called it Cadbury's Fruit and Landmine

I liked that one where it had little bits of crunchie in it. Is it like that, or is it harder? better stronger faster

I had the spring edition yesterday, which just normal dairy milk, with little white chocolate rabbit in the middle of each square.

I tried the McPlant at McDonald's. Probably the best veggie/vegan burger I've had, although I've not had many. It's better than the Whopper equivalent. Tastes like a burger you'd get in a kebab place, and probably has the same amount of meat in it.

Also had one of those and once had one in spoons. Pretty nice, as I'm not keen on veggie burgers, you know ones filled with sweetcorn etc or ones made mostly of mushrooms as I hate mushrooms.

I don't like a "burger" which is actually just a big mushroom or something in a bun. Those bean burgers BK did back in the day were alright though.

I haven't had a chance to try McDonalds or Burger King's vegan options yet but Mos burger has a pretty convincing one. I'm hopeful they'll just phase out real meat options soon enough and nobody will miss it.

Sorry for derailing Vegan Burger Chat (I don't like basically any meat substitutes I've tried...), but: raisins do not belong in chocolate bars. I like chocolate, I like raisins, but put the two together and you've got a texture-flavour mishmash that deserves a dishonourable mention in any year's votes.

The trick is when you're eating a bar out of the fridge; solid, crunchy chocolate and chewy little raisins. Belting.

Do they even do meat alternatives for goose, oysters, lobster etc though.

I'm addicted to the hazelnut chocolate at Aldi. In fact, Aldi chocolate in general is top tier. Never been a fan of fruit in chocolate, or fruit in cake to be honest.

Fridge chocolate is underrated. Bung a Mars bar in there and you can slice it. Tastes a lot better than a regular Mars bar. Speaking of which, Mars ice cream bars

Agreed 100%. Fruit in any sort of chocolate or cake is a sin.

No, this is a chocolate loses its flavour when it's cold thing. It's not a good time. If you want cold chocolate get a magnum, at least that was designed for it.

I'm going to stand up for 'Fridge Chocolate. The alternative in the British summer is Melty Molten Chocolate: I can only imagine it's worse in Japan.

Agreed that fruit cake can go and die in a hole somewhere.

Oysters taste of the devil's phlegm, so I can't imagine an alternative being any worse.

The ultimate chocolate is when it's melting in your mouth and giving maximum flavour, but sometimes a solid, refridgerated texture is preferable. There's more to mouthfeel than taste alone.
