Managed to luck into the Junkenstein skin yesterday, which I'm happy about.

I was just re-reading Jay's OP and my first post in the topic and thought it funny just how much my opinions on certain characters has changed over time. Hanzo is a character we both brought up as liking, but he's viewed as a bit of a joke now. Not so much because the character is bad, but because he's popular and lots of people who use him are bad. Equally, I'm all aboard the Zarya express now, whereas a month ago I didn't get her at all.

I was all aboard the Zenyatta train last month - now it's Reaper or bust. Case in point - this game as Reaper which features two of my favourite Death Blossoms to date.

Oh. I was totally expecting that to be a news story about a stage production.

Blizzcon is tomorrow, I've never been bothered about the event in till a few years ago when Overwatch was first shown as I've never really cared about Blizzards games.

But now I am with the likely hood of Sombra coming out afterwards at least then whatever else on top as now I'm interested in their games.

Don't you need to pay to watch the cool shit? Even if it's free i think I'll just give it a googs by the time all the major announcements are out, but it's probably a good watch if you're into blizzy stuff. Hopefully they will announce another PvE game mode; haven't tried the latest brawl but I'm sure it's no Junkers' Revenge

Yeah it's £25 to watch, which I won't be doing but I will keep a eye on the news this year.

£25?!??!?!?!?!! What the hell justifys that?

It's always been that, you do get some virtual goods and normally the only way to get these items.

That doesn't make it any less ridiculous, you're paying them to market their products to you

Yeah and loads will pay it (10 million viewers last year), actual price to go to the convention is $199 a ticket and that's what its meant to be convention like D23 or PSX for fans of Blizzard instead, but unlike those you have to pay to see it on the net.

I don't want to say she's broken as fuck without her being live yet, but... I think she's broken as fuck.

She's got a high damage weapon, a teleport that regens every 5 seconds plus that hack and an ultimate that shuts down other ults and she can turn invisible. On paper, that's a bad fanfiction level of powers.

Having said that, they've internally tested her for quite some time so hopefully she'll only need minor tweaks in line with what all the heroes get in the future. It's cool and bold to make her so different from other characters, so I'm still excited to give her a go.

Has she become available in the PC BETA play list yet? Which will hopefully help balance her.

She will be on the PTR, I think it's a week - 2 weeks before she comes to the console versions. I'm sure they'll tweak the numbers under the hood a little, but her hacking of health packs/ abilities and 5 second teleport just seem a little ludicrous to me.

I imagine that in the hands of someone very skilled she will be an absolute terror, but at lower levels she'll be no more effective than those wank Genjis and Hanzos.

My Diamond level Xbox One Overwatch playing mate, looked at the Top 500 players on the game and joined the Number 1 player in Europe, who was using Bastion.

Who the hell uses Bastion for high level but you might be right highly skilled players might get the best out of a character like Sombra.

Don't forget we are getting a new map in December and Arcade Mode which has 1v1 and 3v3.

Her ability to deal damage doesn't seem as concentrated as a Tracer or a Genji from what I've seen. It seems like she's designed to be even more annoying than Tracer. There are definitely counters to her - Soldier can spray bullets which knocks her out of her invisiblity, Winston shuts her down much like he shuts down Genji and you can find her teleporter module and wait for her to jump out you usually get a kill on her.

I've done research I reckon she will come to console around the 25th of this month along with arcade mode for all those loot boxes.

I had a gander at the arcade mode - looks really neat! The 3v3 one life mode seems fast paced and light-hearted, and I've heard they'll be allowing you to play the 1v1 mode with friends, which will be a laugh. It's bringing some much needed variety to the game.
