Ahh, okay. Thought The Grackler had been up to no good in our CSS or something. Good to know.

I've been popping in and out for a large part of the day, and I've not had any issues at all.

It seems to have resolved itself, so it might have only been for twenty minutes or so. Very odd.

I've raised it with Zero.  Can't see him having any objection at all, but I'll wait for him to come back to me.

EDIT: Okay, it's done.  All too easy to change back if Zero objects.  He doesn't. Can't get rid of the "usergroups" link, though.

I think there's too many forum sections. My suggestion would be for  some to merge:

- Forum Feedback/News keep as
- Wii U and Wii + Nintendo 3DS and DS merge to one section: Wii U and 3DS (feat. Wii and DS)
- GNamer Community - keep the same (could add Podcast part here instead of separate section)
- Off Topic - keep the same
- General Gaming Discussion + Gnamer Gaming News merged together : General Gaming Talk and News
- Retro - keep the same
- Merge the 4 other sections into one Nontendo Gaming section.

I actually agree with most of those suggestions bar two - the Wii U and 3DS forums see enough new posts to warrant keeping them merged, plus we are a Nintendo forum so worth keeping them separate, and I wouldn't merge the podcast into community as it's a big forum creation like Admintendo so warrants its own place.

The rest sound fine - not sure if the News forum experiment has been a success, and the Nontendo sections barely see enough traffic to keep them separate.

Hm. The news section was originally, possibly before your time, amalgamated with General Gaming. The idea seemed quite popular on creation, with maybe one or two notable exceptions. For that reason alone I'd be loath to re-merge them. If enough people do want them recombined, however, we can always do that.

As for "Nontendo", that's up to non-Nintendo gamers more than me. I can see the convenience of having threads for e.g. the Dark Souls games, Batman games etc. in there.

Yeah merge Nontendo, they rarely see new topics and most people who own them will have at least 2 of those platforms anyway.

Yeah maybe leaving how everything is it is but merge all the other Nontendo and maybe sticky PS4, XBONE etc for the few times there used and big series or games like a Halo or Uncharted we or do have there own thread which would now be in general.

I wouldn't move Retro.

It sounds like people are keen on Nontendo, then! I'm about to go to bed, so that's a thing that will probably happen next weekend, I'm afraid. Will move things like the general multiplat thread and stuff across as well.

Just move iOS, PC, Xbox and PlayStation to general gaming that's that nothing else has to be done well maybe the sticky but nothing else needs to be moved.

Nah, a Nontendo section keeps it cleaner, whilst General Gaming can be for general miscellaneous chat like Balla's Metroid thread or the music threads, for example.

Non-Nintendo is being slowly but surely destroyed, this is an assured win for Ninty.

the could be a lot a work for Balla then as Batman, Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy etc threads would have to be moved to to Nontendo. To me there general gaming things though.

But they're only in General because we've not had a Nontendo section before. Sure, a few game in those big series threads have been on Ninty consoles, but you wouldn't associate them with Nintendo. If Balla reckons it's too much work to shift everything, then that's another story, but I don't see your point about them being general gaming threads.

I'm saying that gaming is gaming be a thread to talk about Final Fantasy or what we want from a Metroid. Were still just chatting about them.

Yeah, but they're primarily Non-Ninty franchises. The only reason they're in general right now is because we didn't have a Nontendo section. I'm repeating myself anyways - tis down to Balla and the rest of the admin crew!

So the Non-tendo section would be merging the ios, pc, playstation and xbox sections into one? Erm...wouldn't this make it too similar to general gaming?

Anything that can still apply to Nintendo (e.g. "Best enemies", "Games coming out this month) would still go into GG.

Like I said as well, hence why I said put them into to general or if a nontendo is made move the likes of batman thread to nontendo.

I'm definitely up for as much merging as possible. I'm probably missing out on conversations I'd like to be a part of just because I'm not checking the 3DS thread, then Wii U, then XBox, then Playstation and so on. Having Community, Off Topic, Nintendo, Nontendo and General would be much nicer.

That's what I see general gaming as too - games threads like who's that pokemon, music threads, general gaming topics. It seems a bit odd having general topics like these shouldering with Nontendo stuff, actually.

I'm not completely against a non-tendo section, it's just that there's often threads (usually new game releases) in general gaming which should be in their respective sections and I could see the non-tendo section having general gaming-like threads popping up that's all.

As for the others I'd like the wii U & 3ds sections to stay separate since you often get the same game coming to both formats (like smash bros etc) and having those merged could muddy the waters a little.
