Good month for the 3DS but I'll becoming of the back of Pokemon and playing FFXV that I'm not sure I want another JRPG on the go as 7th Dragon and SMTIV:A would sort of take my fancy.

The big one and only I'm getting after waiting 10 years for it is The Last Guardian, I feel due how long its been in development and unlike FFXV hasn't really shown its moved on from PS3 to PS4, I could see it getting 4/10 from outlets but after all this time, I really don't care about reviews or how good or bad it is, I just want to play it after all this time.

The Zelda amiibo are preordered. I want to see Pete's Dragon and Suicide Squad again to see what is added to it like with BvS, then we come to the big one Rogue One which I will be seeing soon as I can.

Passengers looks a good Sci Fi film with Lawrence and Pratt but not sure if anyone will want to go see it, then on 26th as I've not seen it I will try to watch Sausage Party.

Picross 3D Round 2 will be a Christmas present, methinks, and should provide something suitably different from Picross en, where n is an integer from one to eleventy hundred billion. That aside, nothing - Pokémon will occupy my time.

Ah, I see RPG of the Year SMT:A is gracing us with its presence! I'll be nabbing that, if only to ensure I get a copy for the future!

Beyond that pretty bland month, I suspect like Mas I'll be too busy playing Pokemon Sun for any new releases. Just as well, I've even less money to spare than usual next month.

Nowt for me & seeing as I didn't pick up anything in November the games from that month will likely go on the Christmas list.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD, eh? I've heard good things, I've heard very good things. Already asked for Picross 3D 2 for Chrimbo, that might be another to go on the list.

Their is a demo out for it at the moment, Balla.

I'll be seeing Star Wars and Passengers, hopefully, but other than that I won't be buying much. Thankfully, as all my time AND dollar will be going to Pokémon and Christmas.

The Last Guardian will be a Christmas game, I reckon. Other than that, nothing much for me!

Intrigued by the Resident Evil 4 release, although is it purely a cosmetic change, or will there be any bonuses in there?

Also, The True Story of the Royal Rumble? The WWE are getting thin on ideas for DVDs...

I can't imagine who is buying any kind of WWE DVD in a world where the Network exists . . .

@gJones if its the same a the USA release then it will be just the game on a disc now in 1080p (I guess) over the 720p (I guess) version on PS360

I've not out on the WWE DVDs in-till now due to very reason of who's buying the DVD release of No Mercy, as us lot I would would have the network, where I think this rumble DVD is one of those that aren't on the network hence why I out it in.

I do like the WWE documentary DVDs but yeah, they certainly aren't worth the £15+ price on release. There'll be collectors out there, but if you are a fan of WWE, you'll have the Network as Drunka says. Maybe they are putting this one out for Christmas, as Royal Rumbles will hit that nostalgia factor that works well at Christmas time.

Re-releasing Resident Evil 4 with no changes is pointless, especially as the Wii edition (the definitive one) is so damn cheap. It's nice to see it in HD, but it's already been done (also a missed opportunity not doing a "Resident Evil 4K").

It's been out age on PSN etc for ages gJones, Capcom even put out a statement saying you'll be able to play all the Resident Evil games on PS4 for instance.

Yet the forgot RE3 also I think it has all the content but if you played before then nothing special but I think they've done something like a million downloads.

Yeah I'll be getting Mario Maker and that be it

I can it now spending £40 on a 4/10 game which is 5hrs long and you would think I'm nuts and any other game sure.

I bought a £425 with The Last Guardian being one of the main reasons for that due to how good SotC and ICO are/were that now I just want to play it by any means, no matter the quality of the game.

I don't if their is any game or games out there you would want no matter the quality, if you been waiting that long for something.

I will buy it and play it even if it reviews with 2s and 3s. It's an experience I don't want to miss out on.

Confident it will be great though. I can see it being not so well received with reviewers for feeling dated, but that's never been a problem for me. I only first played Ico and SOTC on PS3 and I loved them.

Fair enough, just don't see how anyone could sustain their hype for that long - I remember I used to be excited for No man's sky then it was pushed back a number of times and my excitement just dwindled to the point where I didn't even buy it.

I think that's a little different as sure I was hyped for NMS but TLG we know the pedigree of the team with ICO and SotC, with SotC being the PS2s best game.

Which leaves you excited for the next game, I guess From Software could be similar now for you Jas they could announce something now and not come out to the PS5.

I can see TLG feeling like a really good old game masquerading as a new game. I'm sure it'll feel dated, but I think it'll be enjoyable to people who really liked Ico and SotC.

That said, I don't think it will have the impact of those games, or which it would have had if it were released when it was originally planned.



On the other hand: I reckon Scalebound and Titanfall 2 are going to do all the cheesey emotionally manipulated boy-and-his-monster things much better, by using the lessons of the last decade of gaming.

Titanfall 2 doesn't have the emotional impact at all, its just a good shooter with a fairly interesting story.

Scalebound could come close in a different way due to the Devil May Cryness of it, we will see when that launches for Scorpio (I'm calling it now).

I reckon Shenmue 3 will receive a very similar reception - well-regarded and appreciated by series fans, but the wider industry will acknowledge its existence and swiftly move on. At least Shenmue 3 looks more like a current-gen release, TLG reminds me of early 360/PS3-era graphics, mixed with that flying dog-faced dragon from Never Ending Story.
