| I'd say it counts as a dungeon.
Also, Archeops is a monster - I had one on my Black playthrough and that thing just brutalized most teams. I recommend getting U-Turn onto it as well for whenever it drops below half health. That really helped me out during my time with Archeops. |

| Is boxing it an option? I can't remember if you need it for story purposes or not... |

| Lucario will be wonder traded like a caught mon! I could box it (and did straight after the fight with Korrina) but I see no reason to keep it. I've already got a perfect bred Lucario in my AS file so I've no need for this one. Cheers for the input though, it made it easier to finally make a decision. |

| Lost the wonderlocke, decided to take on a gym leader rematch in the Battle Chateu and because my team was weaker than usual and Doublade was boxed for exceeding the level cap I got blown back by... Wait for it.... A Masquerain. It used Quiver Dance twice and blew the team apart. So yeah, wonderlocke over. Ah well, was fun while it lasted, didn't expect to encounter a level 40 mon with a actual decent moveset, got my just rewards for underpreparing. To be fair I didn't really register it was the bug gym leader until I'd started the match, but whatever, no excuses. |

| In all honesty I'm actually kind of glad this happened, not that I like losing (and to that thing of all pokemon, probably the only time I'm ever going to get 6-0'd by a Masquerain) but that I actually lost a run is satisfying for some reason.
Preparation is half the battle in this game as well, so I can't say it's undeserved either. Surprising, yeah, but totally deserved. |

| Anouncement!
New Nuzlocke & Journal Project
The Pokemon Master will attempt to reclaim his throne in a new land. . .
The war between truth and ideals will begin anew. . .
Coming Soon - Full reveal:
Yeah, if my hints weren't strong enough, I'm planning a Black or White (probably white because Zekrom is a BADASS) nuzlocke. I've been feeling pangs of not playing gen 5 for too long.
Fun fact, the next nuzlocke will be my returning to the first ever game I nuzlocked! |

| Nice! Love me a bit of Gen 5; Join Avenue was my favourite innovation for a very long time. Looking forward to your efforts, sir; good luck and good skill! |

| Thanks! Just a heads up for everyone that enrolments to become a Pokemon in the run are now open, so if anyone wants to be a Pokemon on my journey sign up now!
Date start window is the end of april/beginning of May, trying to balance this between the end of Tales of Zestiria and the beginning of fire emblem fates. |

I'd like to get my name down, if that's alright! Given that I'm Zero, you could use my name on a really rubbish 'mon - one of the elemental monkeys, perhaps... |

| Actually I probably won't be picking up an elemental monkey, their moveset is absolutely horrible and I'd rather ride to victory on a Lillipup if the rng gods deign to grace me with one of those. Means I'll probably get a Munna instead since I'll probably have a Patrat and Purloin before hitting the dreamyard! So, that's Zero and Jay ( you do want a mon named after you right?) so far! Rules time! - Rules and clauses that will be enforced during this run:
~Rules~
01 - All Pokemon that gain faint status are considered dead and placed in a box representing the afterlife with a name of the players choosing.
02 - Only one Pokemon may be caught per area and only the first encounter counts. If that first encounter fails for any reason the encounter is considered lost and voided.
03 - No Legendaries excluding mandatory captures, any forced legendary catches must be fainted as soon as possible and boxed.
04 - No eviolite
05 - No exceeding an areas level cap beyond 3 levels, a player may have one ace Pokemon five levels beyond the areas average. Any Pokemon that exceed this soft cap must be boxed until they no longer exceed the cap.
06 - All Pokemon must be nicknamed to create fonder bonds with them.
07 - All gift Pokemon are considered an encounter for that area, no legendary gifts are allowed unless forced. Example: Dreamyards Monkey gift, you can either receive this or encounter a grass encounter, not both.
08 - No trading of any kind.
09 - TMs are limited to one use per TM in line with older standards, HMs are fine for repeated use.
10 - Only five Pokeballs a town, alternatively four great balls, or three ultra balls, or two special (Dusk, Timer, ect) balls.
11 - Only five healing items per town, status healing and HP healing are considered the same thing and the player is only allowed five as a whole. Items found on the ground do not count towards this total.
12 - Only ten HP healing items and ten status healing items are allowed in the item bag, any that exceed this that are found must be tossed, sold, or used immediately.
13 - No reviving. Ever. This likely goes without saying, but this is a nuzlocke so I'm listing this as rule to make it crystal clear. Doesn't matter how a Pokemon faints, whether its through actual progress or grinding, if it faints it's dead. And we all know I keep to this rule by virtue of how my last locke ended (masquerain for ubers!)
14 - No Repels before an areas first encounter, no matter the situation. Some may be aware that Pokemon are only repelled if there is a decent level gap between the wild Pokemon and Pokemon in the front of the party, combined with the fact some wild Pokemon can be higher leveled this can lead to selective catches.
15 - And to make things a little tougher and add on to that last rule, the player is only allowed to use Repels if the lead Pokemon can comfortably defeat the wild Pokemon of that area, or they are backtracking.
~Clauses~
01 - Dupes clause, in the event that the players first encounter is a Pokemon they already successfully caught in a previous area they are allowed to re-encounter for a new Pokemon if they choose to do so. This is to prevent a player having a team entirely of the same two or three pokemon and in the spirit of a Nuzlocke's main ideal of making the player diversify their team.
02 - In the event that an opposing trainer has a Legendary Pokemon the player, if they have been forced to capture a Legendary themselves, may use that legendary against the opposing legendary. Note that as soon as the opposing legendary is defeated the player must faint their own as soon as possible. They are not allowed to heal their Legendary.
I may think up some more rules or clauses later, but right now that's a comprehensive set of rules and clauses I will be following during my run. May sound a bit complex but as this isn't exactly my first nuzlocke I feel comfortable putting on the rules to that degree. Plus making this stuff set in steel before the run starts means less time worrying whenever something unexpected comes up. I'll also be going over what every area in the game is ahead of time to calculate how many encounters there are, get area level averages, and so on. |
