"I’m going to go with Balladeer. While 2016 has been a pretty dreadful year for Nintendo games, Balla’s spirit and passion for Nintendo has kept the cause alive. With a long dead console, a void of magazines and arguably the smallest slice of the home console market ever, without Balla’s posts I think GNamer could have lost a lot of that Nintendo-ness that has carried through to the Switch reveal. If the Switch presentation in 2017 was the shot in the arm a site like this needed, Balla was there with the belt around the forum’s elbow, tapping that vein of Nintendo blood."
