It'd make me feel slightly dirty every time I fired up BotW. |

| Strangely the freedom on how you uncover the story in BotW is something I like dislike about the game. |

| I just realised that apart from BotW all the current Switch games have a big multiplayer focus to them whether that's locally or online, don't get me wrong they have been really fun games but I really want that next big single player only game to come out & have me hooked on nothing but that for a month or 2. |

| Nah, the only one I have a slight interest in there is FIFA 18 but I'd want to play a demo of that before making up my mind up & even then that's hardly a single player only game. |

| Most of the 14 games aren't or they're something like Rayman Legends which most of us have played.
I wasn't on the Podcast where the plan as to talk about Switch 6 months in but I said in this thread before that I love the hardware but unlike someone like Drunka who I know loves the Switch has put in 100+ hrs on Zelda, MK8 and Splat 2 sure make it a great system but that's not my gaming habits to play that much multiplayer or 100% a game.
I'm much more do the story and done, sure they're games on Switch that I can do that like a I Am Setsuna but like you say their isn't that big single player game but we've got Mario + Rabbids to come which will focus more on Single Player and even MHXX will be something I will play on and off single player and multi player but I think it is wait for Super Mario Odyssey to really fill the void. |

You're not wrong, Jas. Much though I laud the Switch as a party console, I reckon it's got some way to go on the single-player front. I reckon the 3DS might have more big single-player games this year than the Switch! I felt this way about the Wii U, actually: shortage of big bombastic single-player adventures (and, y'know, most other types of game). That said, the Switch has BotW, SMO, and Xenoblade 2 (while not your sort of thing, you can't deny it fits the description) in its first year. You can deny the quantity, but not the quality! |

Oh I've put a fair amount of hours into these games as well so I clearly like them & the system. - Balladeer wrote:

Indeed I cannot. I'm just looking to break my current gaming habits a wee bit as even on ps4 I'm more into the MP stuff these days so I have a lot vying for my attention but sadly none of them are single player focused. |

| The end is nigh as EA is bringing a game to Switch that isn't FIFA, where getting Fe which looks like a 3D Ori and part of the indies that indies sort of games but I do think it suits the Switch.
Also, Fire Emblem Warriors is coming October 20th, 7 days before Mario. Why Nintendo, why do you do this all the time with releases, spread them out urghh |

| Fe and FE, eh mas? On a serious note, Fe looks right up my street as well as making me better disposed towards EA (will it sell more copies than FIFA 18? Who can tell for sure?). In other news I watched the new FEW trailer and, well... shouldn't a warrior want to protect their chest better? |

I don't know if you can have either of those with Depression Quest. |

| Just got back from the in-laws. We took the Switch so that my nephews could play a bit of MK8D (and Sonic Mania and Rayman Legends DE demo, as it happened!). There are now five user profiles on the Switch, which is three more than my Wii U ever had. |

| There's two on my Switch: me and Japanese me. That said, I also had some kids on my Switch yesterday. My mum was babysitting some of her friend's children and I kept them entertained with Mario Kart and ARMS. |

| My Switch has myself and Pandaface. The Wii was my last machine with more than one profile: it had my whole family. |

| Had this thought a few days ago. As we know, Joy-Cons can slide into the main unit of the Switch so that you can take it out of your home. Do we think other such controllers are planned? I had the quick idea of a Joy-Con-esque controller with a D-pad instead of the four buttons. If this is to be a thing, what would y'all like to see, if anything? |
