| Oh boy. One of a handful of Zelda games I've not completed... but then again, one of a handful of Zelda games I don't count as Zelda games. I hope your experience with it is... fruitful? I don't know what the right word is. |

| I've not got a CDi or planning to get one, it's solely for my collection but I have had a CDi in the past and have played Wand, meaning my sic isn't a lie.
The only positive to take from the CDi games, is 2 out of 3, you actually play as Zelda which Nintendo really need to do.

| That be a bit annoying as I've only ever played Fire Embelm on a portable screen and playing in handheld mode on the Switch would be great.
I doubt as it's not in the past effect the value of the game and in some cases such as Crash Bandicoot went up in price after.
It's nice to have in the collection as well, not sure what's left on Cube that's really top notch that I don't own. |

| Yesterday I exchanged Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: The Telltale Series for this: - img:
I thought there'd be a bigger chance of finding it in the larger local GAME store... and there wasn't. I had to get over to the smaller one, and snaffle their final copy. |

| Bit of a strange one as I bought this American version of the game from Play Asia and feels odd buying something not Asian from an Asian site, in a weekly sale which cost me £14 + £5 postage coming to £19 which seemed a bit of bargain. Also, I took the picture at work as the post lady knocked on my car window as I was going, to give me the parcel. |

| Hope youse can see that. TK Maxx had a table out with donations for Cancer Research, and all media was 50p. I spotted Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly on GameCube, and inside was that, the manual for Crash Bandicoot on the PSone, and a disk for F-Zero GX. Very interesting! |

| That's one of those cursed images. Punted Shadow of the Collosus and very unexpectedly got this instead reduced to £25 rather surprisingly, not the kind of price you'd expect in Game for still new, first party Nintendo stuff. |

| That is a weird one... although I can't imagine it selling all that well, to be honest. Anyway, I hope you like it more than SotC DIGRESSION ALERT: I always think of that as being short for 'Sex Or The City'. What's wrong with me? , boss. |

| I really enjoyed that, hope you do too Smurf! Especially because, as Zero says, I can't imagine too many other people picking it up. |

| Cappa, this genuinely sounds like the start of one of those crap internet horror stories. That F-Zero was owned by a kid who died, and his ghost is going to send you messages through the lap times or whatnot. |

| I'm sure I'll enjoy it, love the Mario and Luigi series but never played what most say is the best in the series.
I'm willing to bet that copy of Emerald won't work properly anymore. |

A skipping rope and a whisk. We needed a new whisk, and the skipping rope is going to be a line - or maybe a vector - at work.

| This came in the post yesterday morning, I paid £6 as soon as I learned it was now backwards compatible on Xbox One, it just seems odd to me that my 360 games collection is nearly all Japanese and things I would never really associate with 360. Then I got this in the afternoon I really fancied picking up either a PS2 or a PS3 but as I bring up with the Xbox One and backwards compatible the games I would pick up for it might be made compatible with Xbox One or they might get remastered such as Catherine which is both. That I decided to go for a PS2 as it was my least played system of the 6th gen and having a huge library of titles, I feel I may get more use out of it over a PS3. The thing is I thought I'd get one easy as it's the best selling console ever and they'd be cheap but nope that's just the Wii (used to be the PS1, I remember having a wall of them in the shop) but dam I've been looking all month and the best I could is the one in the picture which was the satin silver premium system as it comes with two matching dual shocks, and in the bundle I got it in also came with the red memory card and 16 games which came to £40. The 16 games where things like Athens Olympics, Weakest Link that it came to £11 trade-in for all 16 games in CEX, that I went to local game shop first who took about 7 of the games as the others where to badly scratched for them which was enough to get me Drakengard (reckon if they took all them it would have been about £20ish trade not £11 like CEX) and then I bought the blue memory card for £3 (Anyone remember when you couldn't get them and they where selling for like the double amount of RRP?). I then went to CEX who didn't even check the discs of the other 9 and I got £6 trade-in and the only thing I could find I wanted was Star Fox Assault which cost me £33. As my PS2 hunting for games wasn't going great (well unless I paid £22 for Magna Carta and some of the other better games in the local game shop), I went back home via the bigger town where I didn't find any good retro but HMV did have Taylor Swift on Vinyl for £13 if you where a loyalty member. I don't know if any of you will remember when I posted I bought the CD, I wanted the vinyl but I could only find in one place and it was near £40. Whilst I was there also picked up Passengers for £10 on 4K also part of the loyalty scheme and I did see in CEX they now have a 4K section in my local with stuff starting from £6, which great to see deals and used at decent prices and not the £24 I just paid for Thor Ragnarok. Any PS2 recommendations would be great if you can think of some more obscure (not the actual game) or top-notch titles such as Persona 3, I may have missed. |

| Nuff said. I will say, in direct contradiction to my above comment, that seeing a Lynel in the first area was a bit of an eye-opener. And as cocky as I am regarding them I gave it a wide berth. Probably didn't have the weapons to kill it anyway. |

| I'm curious as to what you'll think Athrun - we have different tastes in games, but the things that put me off trying it would, I'd have thought, be things that hit you also. |

| Mas, I swear we are living parallel lives. I'm interested in a silver slimline PS2 (which I had back in 2005/2006) and struggling to find one at a reasonable price. There are probably 100 games I'd like to pick up for PS2 and pretty much all of them are dirt cheap.

| I wanted a slim as well but like you say hard to get one at a reasonable price.
I'm not sure all the games I'm looking at you'd consider dirt cheap, as Persona 3 is close to £50 and it's those sort of games I'd be looking at but reckon might be some bargains about. And from looking on eBay last night stuff like Persona 3 for a American version is under £20 and saw a bunch of games that I would play such as Tales of Abyss which didn't get a European release.
I'm just not sure how, I go about playing imports on a PS2 or might even make sense to pickup a USA machine. |

| I don't know anything about Drakenguard, I was put off watching Passengers when I read about the ending - Spoiler:
which reveals that Chris Pratt did something creepy and uncool, but apparently the film plays it off as a little mistake and ultimately romantic, and lets him get away with it. Starfox Assault is majorly underrated, the best Starfox game since the N64. Good pick-up. Reputation has some missteps, and doesn't feel as consistently excellent lyrically or enjoyable musically as Taylor's earlier albums but it's still a treat and she remains my favourite recording artist alive today. |
