With my old housemates we used to change it up a lot so I have a heap of characters to adapt to the others changes

Random is the best Character...

Sonic, Pikachu, Meta Knight, Mario and Pit, which explains why I usually get my arse handed to me in multiplayer...

By the way, I don't think I said this on here yet: World of Light looks like EXACTLY what I was hoping for: a story mode with the cutscenes and ridiculous drama of Subspace Emissary but with normal fights instead of crap side-scrolling. I am absolutely hyped.

Plus: Lifelight is a TUNE!

Looking my 5 would maybe be Link in some form, Lucina, Rosalina, Cloud and Bayonetta whenever I pick this up cheap.

This was always true for me. Now, with so many characters and a bundle I don't want to touch, I'm not so sure. The series should do for random characters what it's done for random stages and allow to apply exclusions.

The Japanese and American Directs suggested that might be the only cut-scene. Still looks (and sounds) belting, mind.

I like the World of Light theme! Adding lyrics gave it an epic feel to distinguish it from the main game. Also, listening to the Japanese version makes the cutscene look like an anime opening.

It's not anime but I had a good laugh at this.......also beware there are Infinity war spoilers in it just in case you haven't seen it yet.

Somebody made this in 5 hours after the Direct.

Hmmm... I do feel a bit bad not having this as a Christmas thing. However, my sister is the one person I'll instantly play with, and she's getting it on launch day, so I didn't want to stop her from being able to talk about it with me. I guess that counts as a Christmassy Family Good Thing To Do, Right? (maybe)

Now that this is only 2 days away I am even more excited for it.

I've got 1 day to go in my head as I'm banking on it being playable as of midnight Friday morning... It's going to put a big downer on my evening if not.

Reviews seem rather positive which isn't a surprise still I see yer man Scullion is going to be reviewing later (due to when he's got a code) and is looking at is a purely single-player experience, which I'll be keeping an eye on.
