Very pretty 2.5D platformer with yarn Yoshi in a paper world. Next year.

I always get frustrated with not being able to collect all the collectables in Yoshi games. It looks cool though, don't get me wrong. I suspect I'll end up giving it another go.

Less 'gitting gud', more 'gitting patient'.
No. No I never have.

Also, "Eggy Arts", that would give you the boak.
Anyhow, another Yoshi game. I'd like this to be a bit more ambitious than the last few, but first impressions are really good. Looks like it's got a lot to offer.

That could well be the game's subtitle. Looks OK, especially with that second player in there (I assume the red'un was a second player - didn't seem to be a Double Cherry drone, at least). The Super Paper Marioshi mechanic could be a lot of fun, if used well.

This game really makes me look forward to the next Yoshi game! We've had an adorable knitted one and now we're getting a beautiful paper-craft one (it's like a fun Little Big Planet). I'm basically sold.

That's a good point: what will the next Yoshi game be made of? Paperclips? Glass? Nuclear waste?

Wood - but it shouldn't be called Yoshi's Woody World. Also, I'm sure we asked that as a Meet The Admin Team question one time.

It accessed the joycon infra-red camera and your social media accounts to build a world made of your own family.

Mmm, meaty.
Zero: I think that was Kirby, but I did remember someone else suggesting glass for that.

Glass would be cool: a fragile, glitterglow world that falls to sparkling pieces at the lob of an egg.

Currently on Treehouse. Reasons this game is looking pretty good:
You can shoot cardboard cows;
The egg aiming seems to not have the annoying 'metronome' nonsense of previous Yoshi games;
Someone on YouTube chat called it 'gay and boring'.

The reason I'm not on Skype is because my gaming thoughts need to be meticulously crafted on the forum. I didn't forget, honest.

Now been confirmed it's been delayed to 2019 and thinking about it, I know you guys aren't big on investors etc but I'm sure Nintendo said the direct would be 2018 games, now some were 2019 but could they mean financial 2018 as if you search Daemon x Machina it seems to come back with February and Fire Emblem is Spring which could be March, that I'm even thinking as we didn't see Yoshi that it's coming after April 2019.
Which goes into an interview with Reggie which he said we show content that will launch over the next six to nine months which does take us to the end of March 2019.

It does, but it also sounds a bit odd. Why not reveal games for the full ten months at least?
Anyway, it's a shame about this. Feels like it could have been a nice warm cuddly game in January, a nice break from watching giant robots beat the screws out of each other.

From what we seen of it before now I can only assume it wasn't gonna be ready anyway, I welcome the extra development time.

Why not 12 months as that like 10 would be after Match and into the fiscal year 2019.
Hey, that's what Reggie said in an interview 9 months which would be the rest of the fiscal year and ties sort into we're showing 2018 games, well that's my logic behind it.
