Also - I'll level with you...:
I didn't initially know that was Sif! My best bud sent me this in the post, which I wasn't expecting; however, there was no label with it. Thankfully my bro-in-law did some Googling and discovered that it was a Dark Souls reference. It might be based on another wolf and swordy-guy picture, but I'm not cultured enough for that. It is a nice gift though, and now I know I feel like I'm in a secret clever club.

I have - but didn't associate that outline necessarily with Sir Artorias*, and Sif, surprisingly for a Dark Souls game, just looks like a scaled-up wolf**.

Nah, to be fair, that wolf in the hoodie does look a fair bit like a generic wolf - I suppose it's the whole "sword in the mouth" thing that makes Sif distinctive.
