'It's a lovely weekday morning in the village and you are a horrible goose.' Basically you seem to play a slow-paced waddling Dennis the Menace, nicking people's stuff, turning on their sprinklers, and of course HONKing. It looks more charming than... a charm bracelet (I'm sorry, that was shit) and has Claude Debussy music in the trailer.

It's not going to get 10/10s, but it could be your favourite 8/10 of 2019.

This looks to have captured gamer's imaginations - Untitled Goose Game was trending on UK Twitter for a few hours after the Nindies presentation. I'm happy to see that, as this is something that I really liked the look of when it was announced last year. It's a brilliant idea for a game.

Aye, I'm well up for this and that trailer had me laughing quite a bit.

I mean that in a nice way! I have trouble being the Bad Guy in videogames usually, but somehow this goose seems compelling!

I think if I wasn't playing a fat waddly goose I'd have more of a problem being 'the baddie'... but I will be, so that's fine. Also everybody knows that geese are gits anyway.

Geese are horrendous creatures and I'm not supporting their obvious attempt at boosting their PR.

On a serious note, this looks ace. I remember seeing a couple of .gifs for this earlier this year promoting a goose stealth game and now that there's more of a game built around it as opposed to just a proof of concept, it seems like it's going to be a blast.

I seen this a while back and completely forgotten it was a thing, thought it looked like a great idea back then, nice to see it's still going ahead. Is Untitled Goose Game a working title or the actual name? I think I'd prefer the latter.

They've said it's a working title but I won't mind it if that's what it ends up being called either.

It absolutely should be named that. It's what it's know as now, and it's a level of whimsy that matches the game itself.

That said, You Are A Horrible Goose would also work.

Best thing to come out of the indie directs and I've just come from playing Donut County which clearly plays differently but you're still sort of a dick, similar art-style etc and I'd be up for more that.

I loved the look of this before it was announced for Switch, then forgot it existed, so I'm happy it's now coming to Switch.

It looks hilarious, hopefully the developers can wrangle some fun levels out of it.

I am bang up for this, my dudes. BANG UP.

Surely I can't be the only person who's picked this game up, is loving the simple art style and the Debussy soudntrack, and feels a little guilty about all the goosy problems I caused to the boy with the plane? No?

Nope played the "story" today and will go back to it now and again for the challenges.

I have it as well but I've not given it a go just yet...........soon.

It's an excellent game to play with something watching you. You can work together on the puzzles, and lots of giggles were had.

I reckon I might give this a gander before taking on Link's Awakening, to be honest. The little gameplay clips I've seen dotted about the web since its release make it look like great fun and a shorter length experience is something I'm jonesing for after going from Yakuza Kiwami to FE:TH to Iceborne.

This is tremendous. Far and away my GotY thus far. Like all the best puzzle games, it's got the moment when it clicks (you can't make him spit his tea out by honking at him, but...); but unlike many of the best puzzle games, you're an awful awful goose. It's brilliant stuff and some of the fanart is great!

Drop whatever game's occupying your September, pick this up, and get ready to smile. A lot.

This is just great isn't it? Not finished it yet although I'm willing to bet I'm not far off after what I've heard about the length of it. I'm already yearning for some DLC, great fun none the less and goes nicely alongside something like Link's Awakening.

Yeah, this is really good fun and I'm chuffed to see how this has picked up steam and garnered a lot of attention.

Hands up if you spent far longer than you should have tormenting that wee boy in the second area.
