I can't comment on the other games you mentioned having not played them and whatnot, but like Jas mentioned as well, you'd have a miserable time playing through Sekiro on a cloud-based console. Any modicum of input delay would be nightmarish. Considering one of my favourite genres in gaming - fighting games - relies on having as little input delay as possible, I really do hope cloud gaming doesn't take off until our Internet infrastructure can reduce latency to such a degree to where it'd be nigh indistinguishable from playing locally. It'd spell the death of my time with fighting games and lots of other titles I love. I'd pretty much only play turn-based JRPGs. |

| You do all know it's not a console and that's the point as well
I remember playing Street Fighter on PSNOW and wasn't great but that was during the BETA, plus I believe Google will have a better infrastructure maybe not as good as MS with the blades for XCloud. |

| Yep we do but it seems like you think latency won't be a mountain sized hurdle for google to overcome. |

| It might be awful and it might not, so I'm not writing it off. Plus how I play games such as the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11, I will play the story mode and maybe a few other bits then trade in, will the latency be as much as concern to me in that mode compared to online matches, nope. |

Also even if you planned to play MK11 through Google stadia that way latency would still affect you because the very nature of the thing is cloud based/always online. This PC Gamer article made some good points on it when they demoed Doom recently at GDC. https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/i-tried-googles-stadia-and-latency-got-me-killed |

| Didn't say it wouldn't affect me, just that it might not be that much of a issue if the game like they say about DOOM is playable. |

| The more casual player might not notice it but those who put as much time into games like we do here probably will, for me it'd be like playing HD/4K games all your life then a new format comes out that's SD only which is a step back to what we are used to. Would it be playable? Sure, but it wouldn't feel the same & how a game plays and feels is everything to me - if they nail it then fair play to them but right now I just have a lot of doubts about it. |

| I'm not expecting it to be like for like with something that isn't streamed though, there might be issues but if it's playable at a decent price then that's fine with me.
That the only things that concern me is price and what's on it.

What TV do you use with your consoles? Have you measured the latency? |

| As it's sort of relevant to this, you may have seen yesterday Microsoft and Sony are partnering to work on improving cloud services for gaming.
This has left loads going Playbox and XStation, Halo on PS5 and Spider-Man 2 on Xbox Scarlett.
I personally don't see any of that happening but more along the lines of Android runs on a Sony and Nokia phones, as in they will come up with a working cloud system then companies will use it. |

| Hopefully this means they'll allow more cross-platform integration for online play in the future. I would love to be able to sync up with Xbox people, say, on Rocket League. |

| I thought Rocket League was cross-play and one of only two games, the other being Fortnite. |

| Rocket League is cross-play, but you can't invite friends from other consoles to your games because the friends systems aren't integrated. Cross-play folk serve only to keep the game's user base populated, making cross-play way less cool than it sounds.
My hope is that Sony and MS would be more open to working together such that it's actually possible to play with your friends on other platforms through cross-play by choice, not a 1 in a million chance. But I imagine this is more geared towards them simply making sure the system works. |

Incidentally, I redownloaded that recently and after Andy bought himself a fight stick, he said he'd be up for going back to SFV. |

| The E3 conference for this is today but some info from Sony this and seems the partnership between them & MS is to stop Google, with terms like we see this company moving on our turf.
Plus seems we will get more info on Sony's end of the partnership this year, I'm guessing relaunch of PSNOW which actually does very well but you don't see much about it. |
