Just looked and it's not on Netflix, Prime, Now, Crunchy or Funimation as I was thinking it would be easier to watch on some sort of streaming service.

Also no Blu Ray, just a £20 DVD.

I'm definitely up for a watch along. I'd even be up for sporadically recording a little something to go with it, maybe after each arc.

My vote for viewing order would be Adventure 1, Adventure 2, Tri, Tamers. With the movies, either dubbed or in their original form, where they crop up.

I'd also be up for a watch-through if it's 3-5 episodes a week, although I would like to watch subbed rather than dubbed for Adventure and especially 02 (even as a kid I thought the dub stunk, and I had absolutely no critical thinking for my entertainment as a kid), could also be fun to compare the sub with the dub as we post our thoughts.  I can watch either though, even 02 (although I tell you now that Davis will try my patience to no end), so I'll leave it up to what folks think would work best.

I think it'll be easier for me to get hold of dubbed and my Japanese isn't good enough that I want to watch it without subs just yet. I definitely plan to catch it all in Japanese eventually though.

That being said, I don't think there'd be any harm in us watching two different versions right? It would probably keep things interesting.

As for Davis, I'm interested to see how he holds up in Japanese. I reckon a lot of his issues are from the dub dumbing him down for laughs.

If other people can get hold of it and are willing to watch it in that form (i.e. DVD for Mas), happy to have at it! Probably not 3-5 episodes a week though: I can only watch DVDs for a few days every week. How long is each episode? If it's 20 minutes then I could do 3!

Well we can make the "official" pace slower, I don't mind talking to you about episodes I already watched a little while back.

I'd be down for a three episode per week watch through!

Anyway I'm off this week so will likely pop to Exeter and/or Weston that I spot the DVD plus might accidentally buy a Panasonic 3DO or something crazy that I'll need the money for, that I'm not going to order quite yet.

Ooft! Again, it is very easily obtainable as an illegitimate stream, but I don't know how easy it is to find a real one.

Isn't really a obscure system that isn't a Wonderswan which I own but I don't own a Saturn.

So, which member of Balla's family would it be least suspicious for him to give a copy of Digimon Tamers for Christmas?

Zavvi seems to be around £15 for Season 1 and £65 for the Season 1-4 boxset and the cheapest I can find, unless I spot used in CEX this week.

Or are we watching Tamers first?  In which case I should be listening to The Biggest Dreamer.  And I'm ready to go whenever.  

Oh, and on episode length I think the dubbed versions should be around 20/21 minutes.

I bought season one on DVD today in HMV for £15.

It's 8 disc's and 54 episodes didn't think it was that many episodes, anyway I'm ready to start when you guys are.

Unless Jay wants some more time we'll kick off next week with the first three episodes of Tamers Adventure. Strewth Balla.

Nah, you shouldn't need to wait for me as I won't be long in finding a way to watch it.

I might watch it subbed as a nice counterpoint to those watching it dubbed to see if it plays differently at all.
