Mushroom Men: Spore Wars! Great to have you in the game, Rum - and I actually remember that title! Also: NGamer being oddly keen on it in previews, when it looked to inexperienced muggins 'ere like a solid 60%-er. Very odd.

Yep, that's the one! I was quite excited by it too, and indeed owned it - mainly because of Les Claypool's involvement as I was big into Primus at that age. It was pretty good, and built a pretty good world, but it wasn't an especially inspired platformer otherwise.

Given that I thought Mas and I expressed our respective confusions in quite similar tones, my new working theory is that Buska reads everything I say in my (slightly) overdone accent from LLP.  Subconsciously his desire to rebel kicks in, and a simple request of mine becomes 'RIGHT YOU GROTTY POOR PEOPLE SPILL THE JOKE OR I'LL THROW YOU TO THE HOUNDS' to his ears/eyes. 🧐

You might not be entirely wrong. Also, by being an Admin you are slightly an authority figure and so I automatically hate you a little bit
