Fixed.  I dragged this grinding to a halt huh? Truth be told, I saw GJones and Buska doing their 'more imaginative' difficult ones and wanted to stick my oar in, which probably wasn't terribly fair on everybody else.  I will edit this post with a new clue every day from now to Friday - hopefully somebody'll get it by then!

I think it's Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (Shanty Anther Parrots Curs). But would not have gotten that without all 5 clues... I did not know there was a dog breed called a cur.

I didn't either, although I knew that dogs being curs was a thing ('mangy cur' etc.). That's why I kept 'curs' in the url, which admittedly doesn't help at all if you're browsing on mobile...

That was a hard one! But I suppose it's difficult to know how obvious some of the pictures are to people coming in blind. That said, I don't think this one is too hard...

The first three pictures made me when I got them.

A couple of clues as this has stalled a little bit... Although I think Balla is nearly there (or may even have it and is just holding off so someone else can have a go!).

I was stuck on the word Galaxy-In (Galaxian) but it's clearly not that.

Saying that, the "in vader" bit suggests Space Invaders something. Could it be Space Invaders Extreme? (Ex + Tree + Me?) I don't know what the last picture is.

Yes! Space Invaders Extreme. The last picture is a shot from the video for the song "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" by Crash Test Dummies, so Ex+Tree+Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Sorry, I hadn't checked this thread for a while. Yes please keep going! I had everyone scratching their heads last time.

I think I know what this one is, but there's one of the picture where I can't quite work out how it ties in to the rest of the word, even though I know roughly what the syllable should be...! Might leave it for a bit to see if anyone else wants to hop in though.

It's quite obviously Date Hamlet Waltz: Cute Sneeze, duh.

It's Detective Pikachu, but I never quite worked out one of the words. Date-?-Tiff Pika-achoo. Datennantiff? Dathamlettiff? Datprincetiff?

Well done Rum! You're going too deep on that second picture: Date-Act-Tiff! I figured that Hamlet's skull moment was the most recognisable piece of acting there is.
