Subject: There's an Imposter Among Aux Fri 22 Apr 2022 - 16:24
Is that a terrible pun? Probably but anyway I had an idea for a game, below is a video featuring 7 tracks and what you have to do is figure which one of them isn't from a videogame. If I can actually bring myself to make more of these (I have ideas of some others that might work) then I'll keep score based on whether you can spot the imposter but also if you can tell me where each track is from, that being said please spoiler your answers, there's definitely some easy ones in this first batch but you never know, it might catch someone out.
Please let me know if the video doesn't work, I've tried to have it as unlisted to avoid any copyright claims/algorithms giving away the answer so not sure if it'll show properly for everyone.

Oh ace work! Time for me to be embarrassingly bad at this, considering.
Answers:
1. Wind Waker, natch. 2. No idea, but it sounds full videogame. 3. So does this one. Could have come out of Fable or something. This could be a film though. 4. Pokémon Sword and Shield, natch. 5. Smurf you git. It's Future Aero Racing S Ultra, but I had to look back through the music thread to confirm, so up to you if that counts. Not sure how anybody could be expected to remember the name of the bloody thing though! 6. This could be a Final Fantasy piece, but it's the most 'movie' one so far. That said, the sound quality to me says videogame rather than film. 7. This is definitely the most filmic one of the bunch. So much so that I reckon it's been included to throw us off the scent. Maybe I'm being too clever, but I reckon this is secret videogame music.
I'll guess number 3.

Hey, I only got three of them! And I had to look up the name of one. It's more about guessing which of the others is a film piece. I might actually have overthought this to my own detriment, but I guess it doesn't matter if nobody else plays.

What Balla said, the main task is finding the imposter but I thought I'd mention the guess what it's from part to make it more interesting, just in case the imposter was too obvious.

Well seeing as spoiler boxes are working again I best give Balla the answers.
For Balladeer's eyes only, not yours you cheeky little scamp trying to take a peek:
1. Was indeed Wind Waker 2. Features in the Wii version of A Boy and His Blob, lovely little game with some great music which is ruined with the way it loops at the end very obviously. 3. This was indeed the imposter, I'm glad it wasn't too obvious though, it's from the BBC adaptation of the Children's story Zog, naturally this piece is stuck in my head forever. 4. Was probably the easiest one I reckon, correct with Sword/Shield but I felt it had a similar sound to some of the others. 5. I would never expect anyone to get this without looking it up and I couldn't remember the name of it myself, I just had to include it for the memes. 6. I wouldn't have expected you to get this one, it's the main theme from Overwatch, feels a bit forgettable though that even the likes of Jay and Andy who've played a lot of this might not get it. 7. This I guess is technically from a film, it's from 2016's Ratchet and Clank which was also released as a film at the same time and from what I understand the movie is basically the game without any gameplay.

I can't believe you didn't recognise Wind Waker Luke, 2 was a fair guess though, not many will have played A Boy and his Blob.
Jay I am shocked that you didn't get Pokemon though, I did include that because it does the bagpipe thing like the imposter does. Thought you'd get Overwatch but I definitely thought Ratchet was a tough one.
