| You have to work hard through Apollo Justice, for starters - and the forum's favourite case...
I really liked elements of Recipe for Turnabout, but others were highly problematic. |

| It's all worth it for the majesty that is Spirit of Justice. (The fourth case doesn't exist.) |

| Spirit Of Justice is the sort of game that, according to forum vernacular, would be called a ‘banger’.
I’ve taken my first steps on Detective Pikachu. It looks gorgeous but I have no further opinion to share... yet. Further, I did play the Radiant Historia demo, as yer man Andy recommended it. It seems a good game but I feel like I should finish a good few things from the backlog before I embark on it. |

| Japan had a demo for Detective Pikachu. Quite disappointed that's not on our eshop, as it's a game that intrigues me but I'm not going to gamble £40 on it. I await your thoughts . . . |

| It's something that I look forward to watching somebody else play on the 3DS!
Echoing other people's thoughts about the sublime SoJ. Pronounced 'sodge', presumably, which doesn't do the game any favours. It's better than its acronym suggests, honest. |

| After a very strong recommendation from fronk on Twitter, I’m checking out a demo for The Alliance Alive. Aesthetically it’s incredibly similar to Bravely Default, almost as if someone at Atlus took a look at the game and said “We could do this”. The combat - so far, at least - is not in the same league, though, but its dynamism reminds me of Dragon Quest IX. |

| I've returned to the Phoenix Wright series with Justice For All and after the completing the first case I've been reminded of how great it is, so much so I feel I might binge my way through all the games. |

| Yaassss! Is this your first time playing through the series Smurfy? I'm onto the second trilogy for the first time and constantly being reminded why this is one of my favourite series of all time.
I just finished the fourth game. Part of me wants to jump straight into the next one but I'll probably have a little breather and just fire up Pokemon for the time being if I fancy playing my 3DS. |

| Good lad Smurf! It's chuffing great to see two forumites going through this series I love so much. The downside is that I now really really want AA7 on Switch... Don't get stuck on JfA Case 3, mind. Proper bobbins that was. |

| I really like reading about people playing the Ace Attorney games for the first time - Drunka's case-by-case reviews on Ginners has been a highlight as of late - so I'll be keen to read your thoughts on Ace Attorney moving forwards, Smurf! |

| Yeah first time going through, played the first game sometime last year so I've had a good break in between but still really enjoying it, I'm confident I'll label it as essential come the end of this trilogy. |

| T&T is the pinnacle of the series in my eyes, so look forward to that one! |

| Been playing a lot of Pokemon Crystal during train journeys/ brief breaks on the farm. Man, I love Gen 2. I might share more thoughts on the Let All Play thread later.
I want to have a completed save of every generation soonish, then I'll work on getting a complete pokedex into my Pokemon Bank before Gen 8. Its something I've always wanted to do, and its within my grasp. Plus it will help with a secret project I'm working on.
Also, I'm gonna sit down this weekend and play the first case of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. |

| Reflecting back on the series, I do reckon that Dual Destinies is the worst of the series - it doesn't reach the lows of Turnabout Big Top or a case you've yet to play in SoJ, but it didn't have the highs of the other games either. I await your Ginners write-ups with baited breath, my dude. |

| Harsh words! I agree that it felt somewhat middle-of-the-road, but - worse than Apollo Justice? Man alive! |

| I honestly can't remember any stand-out points from DD, whereas I think the first and last cases of Apollo Justice are pretty damn good. |

| The standout for me is probably that Athena moment. Also the final baddie... but for the wrong reasons. |

| Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers
A game I have seen almost nothing about, but seems fun so far! |

| Dead Heat Breakers is a delight! Bit easy, and it drags on in the latter half, but it was intriguing enough that I had plenty of fun with it. The Mii integration is top notch, too, had a lot of fun with the NGamer crew manning various towers and hanging around town.
I'm currently playing WarioWare DIY on my DSi XL after failing to make much progress at all playing a fresh (not New Game+) file of CastleVania: PoR on hard mode. |

| PoR is one of my favourite games, yet I've never felt brave enough to tackle the hard mode! What are the changes beyond what I could only assume is increased damage to the player? |

| I'm guessing it's just increased damage! Though the frequency of bats makes me question otherwise.
---
I've been playing GBA games lately, but not on a DS. But surely it counts since the DS Lite plays them, right?
Anyway, I finished Wario Land 4 for what must be the 7th time since its release. It's still what I'd call the perfect game, I just can't fault it in any way. Still sad that Nintendo R&D 1 got restructured in 2004, they made some of my favourite games of all time (Super Metroid, Panel de Pon, early Advance Wars and Fire Emblem, the Wario Lands, WarioWare Inc...).
Every facet to Wario Land 4 screams high effort and craftsmanship - no corners have been cut. Started a run on Super Hard difficulty and I was delighted that so much of the game had been rethought to be brutally difficult...
I've also been playing the Shining Force remake on GBA. Superb strategy game, really. While the strategy itself isn't deep by today's standards, the world and characters are really well designed. I actually want to talk to every NPC instead of it being a ritual, and the characters are good fun. |

| The CDs are rather evil. Thankfully they aren't too tied to your score, so you can get the gold crown (10k points or above), then return to a level with just the aim of grabbing the CD... |

| Oh I didn't mean getting them, I meant that the .gifs of real people dressed as Wario and the weird, weird 'music' coming out of them surely qualifies them as cursed objects. |
