| Forgive me, Kyranitar, but isn't it WWE Wrestling these days? EDIT: Ahhh, that was the joke. I'll be leaving now...

| Jaster's question time
Who is your current favourite wrestler? (from any company) I bet we get really obvious ones
Only one choice for me here and that is Antonio "Tiger Uppercut" Cesaro. |

| My favourite wrestler is Daniel Bryan, he has been for quite a while now. As well as his in-ring ability, he also turns pretty much everything he is given to work with in to gold. His segments with Kane and Dr Shelby are far funnier than they have any right to be xD |

| I'll watch the Rumble next Sunday, and WrestleMania after that, but I'm not really keeping up-to-date with wrestling these days. Without knowing anything about storylines or that, I hope Ryback wins the Royal Rumble, as he seems like the sort of mad cunt who'd powerbomb someone off of a roof. |

| I can only pick one? Hmm. Guess I'll go with WWE's newest signing, El Generico. Hugely entertaining to watch, and a superb wrestler, loved him since I first saw him in Ring of Honor. Hope WWE do something good with him, think he can really do well there.
Things have picked up a bit in WWE a bit lately, think this year could be big if they start to give some new faces time to shine.
For the Royal Rumble I hope we get something different this year. I'd prefer the winner to be Ryback, Antonio Cesaro, Wade Barrett or Dolph Ziggler (someone new) as opposed to John Cena, Randy Orton or Sheamus. Last year's winner, Sheamus, was built on winning the Rumble. Remember how puzzling it was that he won? We didn't realise it at the time, but that was the starting point for him becoming one of the biggest stars in the company. Hope they do the same this year. |

I've been dipping in and out of WWE, but Ryback really does look like he'd do that! Well, I'll throw a curveball and say that mines is still Sting over at TNA followed closely by Austin Aries. |

| Mind if I cut in?
Not sure who my favourite is right now, it was Punk until his heel turn suddenly removed all of his in ring ability and credability so I'll probably say Ziggler who I'm assuming will be the biggest superstar of the year. |

| I have a horrible feeling the Rumble winner is going to be either Sheamus, Orton or Cena >< Cena is still looking likely to face The Rock at 'Mania for the title (eurgh), and Cena winning the Rumble would set that up perfectly for WWE. I really hope I am wrong though, it would be good to see someone get the nod who can actually elevate themselves from winning it like Rhodes, Sandow or Barrett (I would say Ziggler too, but since he has MITB I doubt he will win the Rumble this year) |

| Sadly, it looks like you're right. Cena VS Rock II looks highly likely. Other rumoured matches include ; - Spoiler:
Brock Lesnar VS Triple H, CM Punk VS Undertaker, and Randy Orton VS Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship
- hardly exciting stuff, bar - Spoiler:
Punk/Taker
in my opinion. |

| ^ Agreed 100%, of all the matches rumoured the one in your second spoiler box is the only one I care about. Sadly looking to be a rather dull and predictable 'Mania, though hopefully that doesn't prove to be the case |

| .....wasn't there a rumour about Cena possibly winning the world title? for me the Ziggler/Cena thing isn't done and could go all the way to a Main event 'mania match, anyway I still see Punk retaining vs Rock (why give a part timer the main championship?) in my eyes I still see Austin Vs Punk for the WWE title happening at 'Mania.
It just fits with the whole respect angle Punk is going with as no one beats the respect out of an opponent quite like Stone Cold.

| For me, Punk needs to beat The Rock just to restor some credibility, they were heading in the right direction when he attacked him at the end of this week's Raw. |

| Spotted Drew McIntyre in the pub down Prestwick main street on Saturday night. A group of drunk lads went up to him and started asking who's going to win the Royal Rumble. Though he didn't say outright, I think he gave them an idea of who he thinks it's going to be. I'll let you know next week. He also said 'he'd try' and win the Rumble before rolling his eyes, poor man. |

| I think we can all hazard a guess at who'll win the Rumble, given what the rumoured line-up for Wrestlemania will be. Other rumours going about suggest that WWE will use the Rumble as a way of bringing back some former stars on a full time basis - Shelton Benjamin, MVP and Kaval are the latest names mentioned. Looks likely that Benjamin could come back, I've heard he's finished with Ring of Honor now, so his return looks very possible.
Quick little thing on Wrestlemania, here's what's bugging me about the potential line-up - the amount of focus on wrestlers who won't around for the rest of the year. Triple H and Undertaker are part timers who will only be wrestling at one or two shows each year, and Brock Lesnar and The Rock are both off after Mania. Yet these guys will feature in three of the biggest matches on the show. And full timers who bust their backsides all year round will be left on the undercard, probably in a multi-man match. I've no problem with the above names being on the show, but putting them in matches that add nothing in the long term is so wasteful. Even having John Cena in a huge match-up is a waste, as win, lose or draw, the result will mean nothing to him as his character does not change at all. What I'd do is put the above names in matches against some up and comers, get people who only see WM more interesting in the product by putting more focus on other guys. Why not have The Rock VS Dolph Ziggler? Triple H VS Antonio Cesaro? Brock Lesnar VS Ryback? Undertaker VS Wade Barrett? Just examples of what could be, but at least it will set those full time guys up for the year. Just my thoughts... |

| I watched the 2004 rumble match early this morning, really good it is too as it told a lot of good stories & even created new feuds within in it, oh and a really interesting fact that all the participants that year had NEVER won a rumble match before.
A nice wee surprise this year would be to allow Ricardo Rodriguez as El Local to enter. |
