Gone ahead and ordered this, more so because it'll allow me to get Animal Crossing for free but I was meaning to get this again anyway and seeing as the Wii version is usually around the same price it made sense.
I must say though, I have a slight fear that the 3DS analogue might hurt my thumb after a bit when playing this.

My thumb is aching from slamming on the 3DS analogue just playing Luigi's Mansion 2, so I think you have to take it as a gibbon.

I think it will be fine just going to the right all the time

DK Country is one of the hardest games I've ever played on a modern console. I need to see if the 3DS version has been totally re-worked before I buy it.

Out tomorrow, but thanks to ShopTo I had this delivered today!
I've just finished the first world of levels. Initial thoughts: except for the brilliant 3D, the Too Many Games stars code and the ability to take it anywhere with you, I don't think there are any benefits whatsoever to having this instead of the Wii original. What you seen in 2010 is what you get in 2013.

Not yet unless someone breaks street day and I get the game tomorrow. Which is weird as Nintendo used to release games on Thursdays but this year they have for some stupid reason they now do it on Saturdays

I've mostly decided that this will be my 'So Many Games' free game of choice. Mostly. I'm actually considering Monster Hunter 3.
Having whatever it is in digital form makes me feel dirty, though; even if it is free.

Had a quick go of this before, very much the same to be honest if not a little bit better thanks to the analogue use instead of the D-Pad, the 3D effect is also quite impressive.

I don't think even Monster Hunter fans would recommend getting the 3DS version of Ultimate.
I agree about the download though, I've decided to sell on my download code of DKCR and buy a physical copy of the game.

I wouldn't go that far dusty (even though I don't own the 3ds version myself) the 3ds version is fine though that CPP would be needed for underwater battles, and with Stu being more of a handheld gamer it may just fit him better.

It is the second best version of Ultimate, by some way.

Swaying more towards this at the moment. It may be a game I've played before, but it's a game I enjoyed a great deal.
Is the employment of the 3D as good as Nintendo Life have said, Smurfy?

I would assume so (not seen what they've said) as the foreground and background movements works just as well as everyone was expecting, you can understand why this was chosen for the 3D treatment.
