Klonoa: Empire of Dreams Empty
PostSubject: Klonoa: Empire of Dreams   Klonoa: Empire of Dreams EmptyThu 21 Mar 2013 - 22:58

I'm only twelve years late to the party, but this evening I finally finished Klonoa: Empire of Dreams on GBA, and a lovely little game it was.

Has anyone else played it? Doing so has strongly tempted me to download the original game from the PlayStation Store.

I bought it ahead of an eight-hour train journey a couple of years ago. Truth be told, I didn't think it was that good. The GBA was inundated with great platformers, and this, to me, wasn't one of them - it just came off as serviceable.

Definitely, absolutely, completely, utterly and totally download the original off of PSN. Even allowing for technological limitations, Empire of Dreams has nothing on Door To Phantomile.

I've watched a few videos of the original, and it looks amazing.

The 2001 release date lets the GBA version off with a lot of things for me. It must've been a decent game to have in your collection during the console's launch year.

Yes, yes and also yes to downloading the original
it is a game well worth playing that many sadly missed out
on at the time due to its relative obscurity.

Yes, Klonoa 2 'something' veil

a great platformer for the PS2.

Play the Wii one, it is a remake of the original PS1 game with the graphics from the PS2
game. got to love the Wii.. 6 years too late to the party Duh!
