I already own LM2 and FE. I've just got to choose my third game. I was considering getting Animal Crossing digitally anyway, so choosing that as my "free" game seems a no brainer.

Hmm. I only own Luigi's Mansion 2 out of that lot, though I do plan on getting Castlevania, and Animal Crossing is a total no-brainer. When does this offer expire?

Already registered Luigi's Mansion and Fire Emblem and have Animal Crossing pre-ordered, but I'd rather still buy that so that might make Lego City my 3rd game as I was planning to get that anyway. Not sure what I'd choose as my free game after that, perhaps Donkey Kong or Monster Hunter.

Anyway, cracking deal this.

As treesmurf said this really is a cracking deal. I'm stunned at the level of quality across the 8 games and how recent they all are. Since I'll be picking up Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem this summer, now I just have to choose which game to claim. Probably DKC3D, as that doesn't seem like a release I'd want to own as a boxed copy over the other titles. Though I am tempted to claim Animal Crossing by code on its release day instead, as I'd benefit hugely from it being on my 3DS all the time.

I get the feeling the title is a bit of a jab against Sony and Vita's upcoming retail game release schedule, which is as barren as Wii U's, but it's good nonetheless considering one of Iwata's goals this financial year is to ensure 3DS picks up momentum in the west.

I'll be buying Luigi's Mansion, Castlevania and Animal Crossing - then claiming Animal Crossing as the freebie, and will be giving the physical copy to the missus.

Nowhere in the T&C's does it say you can't download a copy of a game you've registered for the offer, so this works out pretty good.

Perhaps Nintendo could do a "buy three WiiU games download an eShop title up to the value of £15 offer" too when a bit more software arrives.

But yeah, an amazing deal. and then some.

I wonder if buying six games would allow you to pick up the remaining two, or if the offer is good for three purchases + one freebie per account.

This is not a challenge.

Though from that list only DKCR3D is the only one I'm not at all interested in so if I had the chance I'd nab 'em all.

Just had a possibly brilliant idea, I could download Animal Crossing and have two villages!!!!!!

I already have Luigi, castlevania and fire emblem, so I guess I'll download AC. It really is a good deal, and a total surprise!

How did it work and what did you pick then? Wondering if they'd send the code straight away for something like Animal Crossing. Obviously I know I won't be able to claim early, just a tad worried I'd potentially lose the code somehow.

I went for animal crossing and I just got an email telling me I'll get another email with the code "shortly after" the games release.

I was thinking of Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D because I've already got Animal Crossing. I'm playing AC when it comes out just to be fair with "everybody".

Top banana! I've just very, very kindly been given a working Stars Catalogue code for Castlevania, meaning that I'll have my three codes (Luigi's Mansion 2, Castlevania and DKCR3D) by the end of the week when Donkey Kong is out.

Not really sure what to get as my fourth game though! I've still for Zavvi's order for the Animal Crossing 3DS (with pre-installed game) processing, so I'll rule that out. What do you fine people recommend?

Fire Emblem? Or do you not like the strategy genre as a whole?

I really couldn't recommend fire emblem enough. From screenshots or looks like advance wars, but really it plays nothing like it.
I hear good things about monster Hunter, and its looking like I'll be taking the plunge soon, so another noob on the forum would be nice!

Other than that, it's Lego or mystery dungeon and, come on, you're a grown man.

I wouldn't recommend Monster Hunter on 3DS really, you're missing out on the Online which really helps with the offline and is half the fun.
As for Fire Emblem Phillips hated Ghost Recon so I don't see it as his cup of tea.
Maybe Castlevania?
