| Such good times...KOGNUT!
Annoyingly I think I missed out on a few of the matches that night as it was the time I suffered from #PhillipsConnection.
Also remember making Lexii ragequit because I knocked her into the lava on Bowser Castle 3 GBA by way of star powerup, then camped by the respawn point only for Lakitu to drop her Kart onto my invincible Funky Kong. Back in the lava she went. Whoops!
Anyone remember the barging matches too?
Hopefully you'll be able to join us all when Mario Kart U launches, Balladeer! And hopefully Funky Kong's in the game. Please?
Which reminds me, I'd like more diversity in game modes and types. They don't have to get rid of team battle, but they should offer the ability to have both. It made Cookie Dough level (er, forgot its name) more reckless.
I liked team battle due to the incentives to shirk that it brought about. Loved building walls of bananas as my other teammates would rack up the points. |

| I just hope that there won't be any bikes in this one. It was a pain in the arse playing the Wii version online and those fuckers kept using bikes. It's not called Mario Kart & Bikes. Ahem, anyway, I've calmed down after that whole situation. And yes, anyone that did use the WuHu shortcut did indeed deserve to have their dick cut off. |

| Bikes have gone the way of two character carts, they are dead and never coming back. |

| Excellent. Hope hang-gliders return, they were a genuinely great new addition to Mario Kart 7.
Would be nice to see the underwater sections overhauled, too with a new, physics engine. Or perhaps give us the ability to ride on water. Perhaps I'm just missing Wave Race 64... |

Riding on the water is a great idea - I've certainly enjoyed those sections in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Under the water in MK7 was too slow, man. |

Don't say that. The two character karts bit, I mean, not the bikes bit. Not that you're not probably right. As long as they bring back character-specific weapons, I'm not too fussed. |

| I'd say bikes and double carts were a one-off gimmick for those particular games, used as a way to generate a bit of interest for both those titles, and to separate them from other titles. That being said, I think gliders will remain in the game. Maybe we'll see another type of vehicle or car modification appear on Wii U? |

| I support Sporky's on-water idea, can easily see little airbags springing out from under karts.
Honey Queen will be axed from the character roster. Shy Guy and Lakitu to stay. Funky Kong to make triumphant return. |

I was originally going to suggest the physics of riding a Manta Ray might not feel too satisfying, then I remember how 'right' it felt to control the ones in Galaxy! Yes please! Cheep Cheep for playable character |

| With the Luigi's Mansion series being revived, wonder if we could see Professor E. Gadd appear in (what will almost certainly be called) Mario Kart Wii U? |

I read a rumour today on CVG that some S&SASR characters might make it in. I hope not, for the sake of my family. They don't want to see a grown man cry. |

| Educated guess given Nintendo's Sega love but I reckon they won't. wouldn't complain having maybe Sonic, Tails and Knuckles though. |

| I'd draw the line at Sonic the Hedgehog, but I can't even see him getting a seat on the grid (racing analogy there) |

Surely he would control too differently though? I really don't think sonic belongs in this.it's not smash bros, it's specifically Mario. |
