| I suppose if you report the incident yourself, you don't look as guilty. If he'd let the producer report it, the story may have be spun out of control. That's what the inquiry is for though - unravelling the facts from the bullshit. |

| Personally I have nothing but apathy for the entire issue until we get told all the information, the whys, the whats, the hows. Either way it's safe to say unless he gets anything but a judgement of innocence Top Gear is as good as dead, it just wouldn't work without the three presenters at it together. |

| Cloudy today but saw a good bit of it through the clouds. A bit too much actually, eyes are a bit sore from being an idiot and staring at it directly with no protective glasses. |

| Regarding Clarkson. Good riddance if he is out.
I saw the eclipse fairly well. Last time we went down to Cornwall to stay with dad's parents and it was so cloudy we watched the whole thing on a screen. Went proper dark though, that was cool. |

| See I would of thought Drunka would of been a fan of Clarkson & the #bantz he brings. |

| I've never been a great fan of #banter. Most of the time (not all), when I see it used, it's done to justify hugely offensive and not particularly funny anyway comments. (Exactly like Top Gear, then!) "Oh calm down love, it's only banter!" I like to think that we're reclaiming the term here on GNamer, to describe things that are (a) not hugely offensive and (b) genuinely funny. |

There's to be one in August 2026 which should be easier to see since it's in the summer. |

You should be able to tell, I'm actually very liberal. I mostly use "bantz" when I'm taking the piss. The problem with Top Gear is that they genuinely hold backwards, offensive, false beliefs. I found their jokes about gypsies and the French funny when I was 15 and an idiot, but I cannot stand them any more. |

| Rumours began to circulate last night that Clarkson has been sacked. For me that's the right decision - it was getting increasingly hard to justify keeping the man in his job. |

| Yeah, that's the right choice. You don't get away with punching someone in the face at your workplace without repercussions, regardless of your status. |
