MGS5 - Metal Gear on Xbox, Bungie on PS4?? Open world, "revolutionises stealth", very pretty.
360 - 2 free games with Live, clear competition with Playstation Plus.
New console design, more like Xbox One.
Dark Souls 2 coming out on 360 soon.
All about the games.
Ryse - New Crytek game, very pretty... nothing that interests me though. Quicktime based combat doesn't inspire hope in me.
Killer Instinct - NEW KILLER INSTICT...yay.
Insomniac. New IP. Open-world shooter.
Sunset Overdrive - Very colourful, fast paced...shades of Mirror's Edge? Looks interesting.
CARS. MCLAREN MAKE CARS. F1 HAS CARS.HERE'S A CAR CHEER FOR USSSS.
Forza 5 - Driveatar. That's a thing... more human-like AI. The game plays itself when you're not playing. Skynet is coming.
Sounds like Valve's Game Director, but, with cars. TRAILER WITH CARS. Fuck, I hate Forza. Destructible cars though.
Indie game time... Microsoft trying to show they are nice to the indie guys.
Minecraft - Is Minecraft even indie anymore? I'd say Mojang are pretty established now. Bigger and better on Xbox One,
apparently.
Back to the blockbusters.
Quantum Break - Blurring the lines between games and TV. How you play changes how the TV show develops. They sure do love
their TV at Microsoft. Cutscene shown from the game...or TV episode.... I don't even know.
D4 - Episodic murder mystery. Not much to go on.
Project Spark - Game making tool? Seems Kinect integrated. Can craft landscapes/time zones with Kinect, more detail
with SmartGlass. Very creative. Community created components can be added to your creations. Community remix other ideas.
Multiplayer, one player playing god, changing landscape, other in action. Very impressive, a cross between LittleBigPlanet
and Minecraft. Integrated with Xbox apps/Kinect/Windows 8. They've definitely chosen a good way to sell their new apps, I'm
impressed. Twitch integration.
Smartglass - Tablet integrated. Challenging Wii U? Game DVR challenging PS4 media sharing. Seems like the Steam game hubs
integrated to an app. Dual processing - single player on one game, setting up multiplayer on another. Very impressive
"Just let it happen,it'll be over soon". ಠ_ಠ Smart matchmaking over all multiplayer titles? Multiplayer matches automatically recorded, can be
edited and commentary recorded with Kinect. Seems quite handy, I guess.
LIVE Features - Unlimited friends, change from MS points to real money, Xbox Live gold feature sharing...seems smart.
Crimson Dragon - no soundtrack lol. Crowd add pew pew noises.
Reminds me of that old cancelled Retro Studios Gamecube game. Seems alright, not much to go on.
Dead Rising 3 - Zombie hordes. Bit more agile, traversing terrain. Item combining on the fly. No more decimating hordes
with trolleys?
Seems like a grittier Dead Rising. Still plenty of crazy weapon though. Zombies bog you down whilst in
cars. Smart Glass integration to call in airstrike. Hope this isn't compulsory like Kinect. Reminds me of the Tingle Tuner.
The Witcher 3 - "You guys rock...henh *creepy smile* *mild applause" lol. Free-roaming, vast world. Kinect and Smartglass
integration. "Next-gen fantasy epic RPG". World looks pretty... combat looks good too. Look out Skyrim.
Battlefield 4 - OH GOOD. "Dynamic gameplay" is buzz phrase of the day. lololo didn't work. hahaha fail. Oh, here it is.
I mean it looks pretty, plenty of blam blam but how is this different from any other FPS of the past few years?
Didn't I play this boat level 6 years ago in CoD4? Destructible environments as per Battlefield standards. Vehicle gameplay
as Battlefield does too. Exclusive map packs... great.
Roguelike? From Superbrothers creator? Colour me interested.
Below - Nice looking indie top-down action adventure. Music from Jim Guthrie. Hope they release it on Steam too.
Unnamed Black Tusk game - Not much to go on here. Spy game? Dunno.
Dude walking through desert, in a robe. Big robot comes out of sand. Who's the dude? Oh. it's Halo.
Halo 5 - 2014 release date. There will be big robots. Spartan Assault, plus TV show. Halo engine enhanced by cloud
computing etc., runs at 60FPS. That's it.
November 2013 release date from Xbox One. £429, $499... hmm. Pricey. Audible groan from crowd.
Titanfall - Mechs are involved. People freerunning with jetpacks, fighting mechs. Very brown.
Doesn't look like anything too special to me. "Will define what this generation of gaming will be about beyond hardware"...oh goody.
More freerunning shown, looks fluid. Is this multiplayer? Looks like a very cinematic multiplayer experience. Mech gameplay
looks fun, I guess.
