| Eh. Looks fun, but disappointing. We have NSMB for the casuals, this should have been a Galaxy-beating ode to imagination. Although there's one thing I'm very psyched about... |

| I was so disappointed when I saw the trailer for the slightly 3D Mario game |

| I mean that I was really hoping for Mario Universe! Or SM64 2, or (heck) even Super Mario Moonshine (Mario has to bust into Bowser's illegal brewery). Not, "Oh look, two new and very powerful consoles on the horizon. Let's re-hash the worst 3D Mario there is, which was designed for handhelds." I repeat: |

| It'll be fine, I liked 3D Land, and I love the look of this. |

| It will be fine, but just fine It was just so much like 3D land which was quite fun but painfully easy and not all that impressive. Also did anyone want multiplayer in a 3D Mario? Anyone? |

| People with friends? Were people expecting to see something that would top the Galaxy games? I wasn't. I have no idea how they could be topped in terms of innovation. Sadly/happily, Nintendo set the bar too high for themselves, I suppose anything would look underwhelming after Mario's Wii outings. |

| I've never managed to get a game of NSMB going let alone a 3D one I wasn't expecting it to beat it but I expected them to try. |

| I was expecting something that would try to top the Galaxies, and fail creditably. This... certainly isn't trying!
But it will be fun, I have to remind myself. The cat suit is cute, and there's a weird Yoshi raft thing. And it isn't like the games in general haven't been moving towards a lack of exploration anyway. |

| ...maybe, maybe. Who knows: I might actually buy a Sonic game. Although Bowser >>>>>>>>>>> The Shitty Six, or whatever they're called. (What I actually wanted was a new exploration-focussed Mario. SM64 2, if you will. But I knew I wasn't going to get that.) |

Is this really the Mario game they're giving us after the Galaxy duo? Really? Thank goodness Sonic: Lost World is looking very good indeed.
New question for the internet: Will we be seeing the real Galaxy contender in the same generation? How many times can they not-so-sneakily repackage New Super Mario Bros. on Wii U? Will I stop being a moaning bastard tonight? |

Feel better now, Balla? A bit. I'll wait until I hear someone else say it first. I'll probably feel better when I see some levels that aren't quite so... cuboidal. |

| This looks great. Yeah Galaxy 2 was great but it came after a game which was clearly in it's toddler stages when it released. Not just Nintendo adjusting to Wii controls with Galaxy. The levels were incredibly small considering it was supposed to be this big 3D platformer. 3D Land got it right from the start so I am positive this will deliver. Galaxy 2 was what the original should have been. Between Mario 64, Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy I always thought Galaxy was the weakest of the three.
Can't wait to see how a console version of 3D Land turns out. 3D Land > Mario Galaxy. Mario Galaxy 2 however. |

I'm actually happy about this existing, and I'm glad that everyone will have a specific role in multiplayer. Like practically everything in the E3 trailer, I basically went "well this is a bit disappointi-WOAOAOAOAOAOAOAOAOAOAOAOAOAOA" But Sonic looks like a game by a publisher who wanted to copy Mario Galaxy. Thank goodness they've not done that before ARF ARF Oh, and a quick warning on phrases that might come out of this game... |

Oh, and a quick warning on phrases that might come out of this game... Compared to the Galaxy (and even the Galaxy 2) reveal, I'm just not grabbed by what they've shown so far. Somehow the knowledge that it's multiplayer-centric lowers my expectations for the quality of the level design. That, and the visual presentation doesn't seem to be half as ambitious. [/boring moan] |

| Don't get me wrong, I would like to see a super-amazing wow-o-tron evolution of Galaxy, but I don't know where they could go from there. The new Zelda better be amazing though |

| I personally think this looks great fun, really enjoyed 3D Land and this will no doubt be great, they just need to up the difficulty a little bit towards Galaxy levels and not NSMB levels. |
