Mas, you may be interested in a retro gaming "meet-up" a few pals of mine are doing in North Bristol. They did them a couple of years ago but moved to Gloucester, but are returning to Bristol with special guest Mike Phelan will be coming along to have a chat about his Dreamcast collection and to show some of his rarest games.
He will also be bringing along some copies of his book, the Dreamcast Junkyard for people to purchase.

Not that I'm aware of. I'd like to meet more of the forumites this year but not sure how or when (wife being a teacher and a netball coach means I usually have the kids). I know a collector who owns a pub in Wotton-under-Edge - I'll see if it's possible to book an evening in there and get some Nintendo games on the go.

That be good and maybe some of the other local ones could come.

Jaster & Jay: what's the script with Glesgames at Drygate on March 4th? With the Switch very expensively coming out the day before, are youse going to leave it this time? So long as I can arrange my travel well in advance, I'm happy enough to still do it to be honest, but what about youse?

Yep, I'll be spending my dollar on the Switch, so a trip to Glasgow will be off the cards sadly this time around. They normally do it twice a year though, right? Could always catch it in the winter when it rolls back around.

Aye its probably better leaving it for another time but its a bimonthly event so it isnt long until the next one rolls around.

Acht. The timing isn't good for me again - I'm at a whisky festival that afternoon, and then out for the football at night. Maybe later in 2017.

Ach, I'll be working that evening and I've no holiday hours left now until they refresh in July. Shiter.

So! Jo has bought tickets for the Saturday of Hyper Japan's Christmas event, which is on November 25th. It's in that there London that there is. If anyone's free, we'd be delighted to meet up with y'all.

Ooooooh. Went to the summer one, had fun despite the rather cramped setting. This could be an idea... shame it's in the back end of NaNoWriMo, but very possibly!
