100 registered users! It's taken us more than one and a half years, but we've finally reached the milestone.

Of course, hardly any of them post regularly, and about a fifth of them are probably dormant spambots... But hey, 100 users!

I wonder what's happened to a few like Oldschool and Cube.

With Stubert absent from the forum, I've given him a buzz on the Book of Faces and he was happy for me to appoint another admin., to help me with... well, changing the tagline mostly. A big welcome to our new admin., ZeroJones!

Do we know if Stu is making a comeback anytime, also does that mean that this Quarters Admintendo will be going up between you balla and Zero

I wasn't initially planning to do an Admintendo for last quarter, due to the lack of another admin. to do it with, but Mr. Jones has nudged me about it (justified his choice already!), so we may yet pull something out of the bag. Still planning on a winter Admintendo as usual, with four people on board. (Any volunteers who haven't done it yet? If not, we'll be circling back round.)

By the way, thank you for noticing, Mas. The more we know it's appreciated, the more likely we are to keep doing them.

As for Stu, no sign that he's interested in a comeback at the moment, sadly.

With no Stu who's doing end of year vote and whom every does do them can we please have a GOTY vote, so we don't get Pikmin 3 all over again.

I was going to do it this time around, if no one has any objections? Expect a thread up in early December. Then it'll be someone different again next year: Cappa was past master of these things, so he should definitely get a chance if he wants.

Yup, and I've tried fiddling with the settings to no avail. I blame Zero for some reason.

I know that Jas wants a beard emoticon, but I'm a bit worried about the number of emoticons swelling to ridiculous proportions.  Could we perhaps get rid of a few?  Does anybody actually use the following (now that Awesomedude's left):

:bom: :silent: :cherry: :geek: :albino: :idea: :flower: :joker:

Or am I worrying about the wrong things again?

I'd say a lot of them could go, but it's not really a huge concern.

The thing that bugs me about emoticons going, is that erasing them would also erase them from their original posts, potentially destroying context/authenticity. Am I being too anal?

It's probably anality (new word) that's making me want to get rid of them in the first place! I just don't like having a number of pointless smileys hanging around and swelling the list.

I reckon we should just keep 'em. Can they just all be shoved to the bottom of the list so you never see them?

That one's doing my head in. Anyone mind me shuffling it to the bottom of the list where it doesn't create a massive visible area of dead space? (And destroy the illusion that little photo Balladeer is watching me. Always watching.)

I don't mind the emoticon at all, it just messes with the continuity of that panel. I'm gonna stick it down with the dead horse, I reckon.
