Good taste! I actually just got around to beating the Jak trilogy on PS3 recently - platinumed the original in about five hours. It's still my favourite of the three. Also, you've made me feel guilty about not updating that thread for ages. Maybe now that I've a bit more free time I'll start updating it again.

I glitched out a couple of precursor orbs so didn't get the platinum on Jak II

That is totally infuriating - especially considering how hard that game is in the first place!

ONM and NGamer had a bit of a rivalry. Does that live on between SONM and GNamer? Or can we all bond over the love of Nintendo and a shared pain of losing a beloved magazine (ours was better though, natch).

Rivalry? I would have thought we'd all be beyond that now - I mean in retrospect it's obvious that ONM was the better magazine

(That pharaoh guy looks sarcy-as, what an emoticon. You might win on those alone tbh)

Honestly though, a large section of the (S)ONM community stopped reading ONM years before the magazine closed up shop. I bought the final issue for the nostalgia, but before that I hadn't bought a copy of ONM since the 3DS came out!

If I was arguing anything, however, clearly NOM was the best

I'm actually Wrathy off of ONM/SONM. I also sort of lurked about CVG the odd time, so if you were around there you might recognise me that way. The more attention you'll pay to this post you'll notice that my username on this forum isn't Wrathy. That is because it was telling me that username is taken when I tried to register with it. Which game me more of an incentive to register and ask why.
