| While that desire is fair enough, if you're relying on that one thing to keep you happy, I don't think there's too much room for disappointment if you didn't like the ND. |

| Sony was hoping to sell 5million PS4 SKU's by the end of March but has all ready passed 5mill and is currently on 5.3mill and yet to be released in japan.
So my prediction of PS4 reaching 10m first looks like a lock-in ohh and the PS4 is only 300k behind the Wii U, so I would prepare yourselves for headlines after the japan launch. As theres bound to be headlines like PS4 passes Wii U's lifetime sales in 3 months.
Ohh and before someone say's I'm a racist or something here's the Australian chart
1. Fable Anniversary (Microsoft) 2. Call Of Duty: Ghosts (Activision) 3. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Ubisoft) 4. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (Square Enix) 5. Battlefield 4 (EA) 6. Grand Theft Auto V (Rockstar) 7. NBA 2K14 (2K) 8. FIFA 14 (EA) 9. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z (Namco Bandai) 10. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Warner Bros.)

| GDC poll has been done, where 2600ish people involved in the games development were asked what system they anticipated there next game to be on, here's the result's:
PC/Mac 52.04% Smartphones/Tablets 50.63% WEB Browser 20.08% PS4 19.66% Xbone 16.95% Not In development 11.16% Android Console 10.93% VITA 7.74% 360 6.13% PS3 6.06% WiiU 4.42% 3DS 1.90% PSP 1.07% Wii 0.95% DS 0.50%
Surprised how low the 3DS is seeing there's nearly 50m out there even if you sold to only 2% of that you would sell 1.1m units. Also shocked how high the VITA is.
Irrational Games, the studio behind the BioShock series, will close down as its founder Ken Levine commits to a "new venture" with a smaller studio, more info can be found there.
March 18th spells the end of the year of Luigi.
New Order 1886 trailer, this is from CVG. Dam this game is looking good.
Activision has confirmed its plan to stagger the release of Skylanders figures throughout the entire year as the series becomes an annual franchise. Wasn't it annual anyway.

I recall one comment along the line "can anyone that isn't a real Nintendo fan close their stream now so us real fans can watch this" I found the direct ok, loved the new Smash Bros/Mario Kart stuff, not bothered about Bayonetta as it's over rated and I've yet to even play Xenoblade (regrettably) so I can't get excited about X just yet. Mario Golf, Pocket Football Club and the GBA VC games all got me a little hyped. |

| Down with this sort of thing. Article summary: GT5 is going offline at the end of May, and all its DLC will become unavailable. Perfectly timed, of course, for all those GT5 players to make the transfer over to MK8. |

| That's one of the things the bugs me about modern gaming your game you pay X amount for might end up changing, sometimes for the better but then it's like that it sucks. If you were never playing it online doesn't matter but if you were it really sucks but I guess you can't keep servers open for ever. |

| Not really big news but dying light on PS4 will have a cool feature, as you can stream the game and watch via Live on the PS4 menu. Whilst watching you can type things like Boo and there will be a Boo in the game, which sounds kinda neat and you could really mess with the player and make lots of zombie noise with none around they think it's a bit of cry wolf then they go around where there actually is zombies. |

| So the Xbox One has had a official price cut (I predict in the prediction thread) and is now £399.99rrp from Friday.
Also there will be a bundle including Titanfall at no extra cost available for pre-order from today at the same price of £399.99 while supplies last.
The limited edition bundle, which will be released globally, features special edition Titanfall packaging and includes an Xbox One console, Kinect sensor, standard wireless controller and chat headset, one month Xbox Live Gold membership and a digital copy of Respawn's highly-anticipated shooter. Seems a good deal to me, shame it's digital version of the game though.
Talking about Titanfall over 2 million people played the Beta
The UK chart 01. The Lego Movie Videogame 02. FIFA 14 03. Call of Duty: Ghosts 04. Battlefield 4 05. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 06. Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition 07. Grand Theft Auto 5 08. Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag 09. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze 10. Rayman Legends

| The XBO price cut is tempting.. Still in no rush to get one (or a PS4 either).
In more worrying Xbox news, Stephen Elop (formerly of Nokia) has just been put in charge of games & hardware at Microsoft. He's the man that wanted MS to sell the Xbox division...

| Who would/could afford the xbox division if sold.
The PS4 sold 322,083 system during the Japanese launch, the PS3 sold 88,443 when it launched.
The VITA turned 2 on the 22nd in nearly all regions.
The VITA has currently sold 7.56m SKUs worldwide, selling 20.86m units of software with the best selling game being uncharted at 1.14m units with each owner owning 2.76 games.
So here's some thoughts about the VITA from me, who has owned a VITA twice. My 1st VITA I bought on launch with a few games such as uncharted, it was a great piece of kit with the problem for me being that the games were console quality. I'd sooner play uncharted on my 47inch TV and sat on my comfy chair with a can of coke not on a handheld which led to me trading in the VITA for a PS3 yo play uncharted.
I always kept a eye on the VITA but lack of games made my dip back into the handheld take a while but now with a decent library of games at retail which to me suit the system very well plus the great stuff on PSN, I couldn't see me playing danganronpa on a PS4 for instance. And with others scheduled to come out like demon gaze. You notice both games are Japanese, which the VITA is great for niche in western market games.
Will sales pick up though or will it always seem to be a flop, I got my current VITA as it was a good price and can now use with the PS4, and in previous news the VITA sales has been up since PS4 launch but this now after having for a while this is better then a accessorize for the PS4. But this weekend just gone shows the state of the VITA though at retail, as I went to my local GAMEs to get Ys & Sorcery Saga (on order now) which had neither come in and it was the same with Danganronpa & Toukiden. Whilst talking to the guys & gals in GAME they didn't even know the VITA had any games coming out this month (Feb) and they though the last game that came out was Tearaway. Basically they explained that wouldn't even be that much point of even getting those 4 games I said about even being niche or not no one ever buys VITA games.
So Wii U owners looks like things could be worse as it does look like Wii U games can sell just by looking at the chart. |

| It's "cretins who shouldn't be involved in gaming getting involved in gaming" time! After one short-sighted investor asked Nintendo to charge "99 cents just to get Mario to jump a little higher" (as mentioned already by Axis in the Wii U thread), some members of the US' worst political party are trying to remove tax relief from violent videogames. Insert comment about guns being allowed in the US here. (There's also some nice racism in the comments for that latter article, if anyone fancies a laugh/cry.) |

| I would vote republican if I was a yank *runs away*
I've got a few things to say about it
1. Why should the video games industry get a tax relief anyway, to me that's more money in a company like EA's pocket, I could understand it for small start up company.
2. There's been violent games for years and there's no proof they warp your mind and they have A for Adult rating but it never get's used as likes of walmart won't sell A stuff. So to me publishers need to be talking to walmart to get the A rating in-stores.
3. The games could get censored like they do in Germany and like how South Park has for EU & AUS, if the game is considered to adult but how far do you go as surely this would be infringing on the 1st amendment.
4. About guns, all I have to say is 2nd amendment which is based of a British right.

| First one: yep, just not with guns.
Second one: nope. Hunting, and indeed taking pleasure in killing animals in general, disgusts me. There are exceptions (mosquitos), but this isn't the place to go into them, or indeed for politics in general. So I'll apologise for my previous post, and have done with it. |

| Sorry I have to continue this,
So not guns what then knifes, taser's, baseball bats.
If you take away the right to bear arms your taking away a freedom, it should be regulated better like over here.
The second to me depends on situation, for game no but if it's for food then yes.
Oh about me voting republican it would of only been the last two elections that I would of I think, if it was Hilary that was running in those I of would of gone democrat more then likely. |
