Have at it, folks. It's a new Fantasy Football League for the forum. Any questions about it, feel free to ask.

I know very little about football, but I'm tempted to join in to see how miserably I can perform. Any tips?

I'll do my usual sign up with a likely terrible team and then forget about it

I pride myself in knowing nothing about football but I'll just fill the field with wyvern riders so no worries.

Spend the most money on strikers and defenders, that's where the big points are won. I'd say put new signings from bigger clubs in your team too, but with no football knowledge, you won't have a clue who is new.

My def is crap, but up front is great.

I picked some football men that added up to more than 100 so I had to lose the striker guy with all the points last year. Consider my team in though

And I'm in. No idea what I'm doing - I picked RVP as I know he scores goals and Bale because I know he did pretty well for himself last season. Beyond that, madness. I picked folk I'd heard of.

For sure? Quick google search says Man U are in the running?

There has been rumors of him going to man utd but real madrid would be able to pay all £85m in one go and aren't a rival to spurs.

A quick google search says they'll be getting plenty of world class players this week but they won't.

I'm still tinkering about with my team, but here's a fun fact: not once has it contained a Manchester United player.

Tweaked my team again, got rid of Bale as not only is he a likely transfer, he's injured too according to the Fantasy Football site.

I'd try and encourage Jas to join, but he's a bawbag and won't.

It's just something I know I wouldn't put my full concentration into (or I'd forget about it) so it'd be a waste of time.
