I'll start us off with... this... which is simultaneously AWFUL yet hilarious.

The Nintendo Music Thread does actually accept bad tunes as well! But since we're here:
Paper Mario TTYD title theme. Doesn't sound too awful to start, right? Wait until 0:22... Kirby's Epic Yarn Space Land. "Quack, quack quack." Rubbish. Seven Rings in Hand, from Brawl or some poor Sonic game. In fact, most of the Brawl Sonic tunes were rubbish, due to their awful awful lyrics and singing. F-Zero X car select. This may appeal to some people, possibly? But to me it sounds like really atrocious metal. I can't believe that it was chosen as a battle track in SSBB - that means listening to it for upwards of two minutes!
I actually remember my friend at primary school banging on about how cool Buck Bumble's theme was. Unironically. Oh for the days of youth and idiocy...

Next up is the legendary soundtrack for Cruis'n USA, a game that's epitomises that 'crap but amazing' feeling. Here's the title theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oI92T48V7oU , but I don't kid when I say that my favourite bit of the game is the intro to one of the other tunes as it reminds me of the Spaceport Alpha theme from Diddy Kong Racing.

This is the sort of thing I could quite happily listen to ironically.
Athrun's offering is not, but then, you get the feeling that it's meant to be awful, like the rest of the game. So far, therefore, Taz-Mania is the turdiest.

Sadly it made me remember this piece from the DS version of GoldenEye Rogue Agent, which is even worse considering it would continue playing once you entered a map in the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6HQTm8Evvc

Yes! A defining factor to Diamond/Pearl's soundtrack -- the instrumentation sounded like a step back from Ruby/Sapphire throughout the game. Which was odd given the glaring limitations of GBA's sound chip.
Actual tunes weren't bad mind. But this is no Verdanturf.
