| I seem to recall we had a thread for Yahtzee's stuff back on The Old Place, so may as well make one now! His review of Beyond Two Souls is out today. From what I've seen of the game, it's pretty accurate. I get the impression David Cage wants to make films, but isn't adept enough at storytelling in order to do so. Oh and, the altar boys line is gold. |

| Much as he feels like a bargain basement Charlie Brooker sometimes, you can always count on him to raise an interesting point and give you a few laughs. |

| I think/know we've discussed him already in another thread, the general consensus to which seemed to be "but he's so moany". Being a moany bastard myself, who appreciates cynicism and wishes he was that funny, I have no problem with these and find them funny. Informative, not necessarily, but definitely funny. |

| What everyone else said.
I particularly like the fact that the phrase "First Person Shooter" is now automatically replaced with "spunk-gargle-weewee". |

Sounds like someone needs to be introduced to a certain Tumblr. |

| Yeah, I don't watch ZP for a solid critique of a game - I watch it to see a game get eviscerated in a funny way. |

| For my money his schtick had worn thin, so I stopped watching every week. Every now and again I'll pop over to his page to see if any Nintendo games have been reviewed (he sort of liked New Leaf, if I remember rightly) or any really big games, though. Making him rarer in my life has made him feel slightly funny again. |

| I had a year or so where I didn't watch him, so he's fairly fresh to me again.
Fun fact: I once saw a group of stereotypically geeky chaps on a bus blasting Zero Punctuation on a phone, like some sort of nerdy equivalent of neds playing Basshunter through their phones on the bus. |

| 1st time I've ever seen this, quite funny and we all know what the game would be like seeing it's from Mr David "I don't like video-games" Cage. |

This is pretty much how I am with Zero Punctuation now. I used to watch it religiously when it first started, but I find him overwhelmingly negative most of the time, though still fairly entertaining with it. In his defence though, he pretty much hates everything, regardless of format. Grand Theft Auto V had a bit of a hard time with him in the last video I watched, though I know he's not a major fan of the series to begin with. |

| His staunch hatred of JRPGs with little to no explanation as to why he doesn't like them turned me away from him a while back. |

| I'll usually go and see what he's reviewed each week, if it's a game I may be interested in I'll watch if it's one I've never even heard of, not so much |

| I'll normally put it on some time in the week over dinner, something to do to kill the crushing silence. |

| Yahtzee on Wind Waker HD.
He seems to like it, although not without taking potshots at the Wii, Pokemon and (potshots I agree with) at Twilight Princess. |

| I refuse to watch that on the off chance that even the slightest negative comment is made. |

While I agreed with them too, it's still the best Zelda ever for other reasons. |

| Twilight Princess is the second to worse 3D Zelda, still a great game though but just not great in the realms of zelda. Which is majoras mask worse then twilight princess then skyward sword then ocarina of time then the best being wind waker. |

| Having said I barely watch him anymore, I went back and saw about five of his more recent videos (and then Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Darksiders II, just because they're on Nintendo consoles now). I giggled more than I expected to; soon I will watch the Wind Waker HD one. |

| Haven't watched the Wind Waker one yet, but his summing up of Beyond: Two Souls is exactly how I feel about that sort of game, and David Cage's bullshit factory. |

Not when it's about Wind Waker it shouldn't. |

| Zero Punctuation - Arkham Origins
Seems like a fair critique based on the discussion we had here on Arkham Origins. |
