Anyone here a Playstation Plus user? I would be if a) I didn't already own way too many unplayed games & b) had a working PS3.

As a fair-weather PS3er who can play online for free, I've never personally seen the draw of PlayStation Plus. Props to those whom enjoy the service, though; I'm sure they play enough stuff to warrant the cost of entry.

I've finished precisely four retail PS3 games since the console's launch ( Neutral ).

I have a big enough backlog of stuff as it is and subbing to PS plus would only add to that so, for that reason I don't think I'll ever bother with it.

With my PS3 rarely getting any time off unless I'm out of the house it's a yes from me, sure I have plenty of games to play already, but I'm more than happy to get a few more Smile My only problem with the service is I often have the games already, though I can't hold that against it, I still get the Online storage (which I find really useful), the auto updates and I generally get at least 2 of the new games a month.

I have it but it can be a pain sometimes having all those games (yes I realise how spoilt I sound) as I don't always get time to play them, still its great value that even the busiest of gamers can get their money's worth from.

Thought I'd try the 30 day free trial, so signed up. Waited for two days. Enter code. Invalid. Email Sony. Eh?

F1 Race Stars & Sleeping Dogs are February's highlights. Very tempting indeed.

Phillips joins the fray! Yes: I took advantage of GAME's pre-owned 40GB PS3 offer, and secured my machine for just £61.48. Groovy.

Will 40GB be enough for me to bother with PlayStation Plus? I quite like the idea of free games and an instant collection that's totally new to me, of course.

It isn't much but you can always download a few of the games and then delete them when you're done like I do, thanks to the download history you don't really have to worry about the game becoming unavailable as long as you "Purchase" it before the end of the month.

Cheers for the advice. On average, how much would you say each game takes up? The few games I've downloaded on my 360 - GRID, Sega Superstars Tennis, Kameo and a few others - each take up about 6GB. Is it close to that?

Ranges from 300 Mb ish for PSN titles, to 15 Gb for bigguns like Uncharted 2. As tree said it's nice and easy to delete and download something else, however size isn't really an issue as I think pretty much any harddrive can be shoved in it (I upgraded mine to 500 Gb because I liked to keep all my downloads on the system)
