Flashback - Movember 2006, Wii & PS3 launch (in some territory's)

Okay, I tried to keep Jay’s Flashback idea going but October’s flashback I only had one reply from the kid. I will try again this month with the most similar year I can find to now. Okay it’s slightly different this time as japan has to wait to get PS4, Xbox One unlike in 2006 where us Europeans had to wait till 2007 for the PS3 and a few weeks longer for Wii compared to other places. If this time is like last month, I won’t be carrying on with a December flashback.

The new Wii is out soon in the states & a few weeks after for us but can’t wait to get my hands on the Wiimote and a new Zelda, what a game to launch with I know I could get on cube but still. Also Ubisoft seem to supporting the Wii well with this Red Steel. Anyone else excited, I’m not going to go to a midnight launch though I’ll get in the morning.

Bit annoyed the PS3 has been delayed for us European’s till next year, nothing really at launch pulling me and that price yikes. Seems weird the PS3 & Wii are launching a week apart in the states & japan.  

But waiting a bit is okay get to see some reviews for the launch line ups, could be a hidden gem.

Seems to be some decent stuff on the 360 as well, this gears of war game from EPIC is looking decent.  

I’ve been playing splinter cell double agent, tony hawk project 8, call of duty 3, need for speed carbon on 360, not bad bunch of games in this first year of the 360. Shame the FIFA still sucks though on next gen, come on EA.

Waiting till Christmas for my Wii, but really worried I won't get one. I'm hearing the preorders are through the roof.

I've pre-ordered a Wii!  I never had a GameCube and most of the launch line-up doesn't look great, so I've asked my brother to get me Super Mario Sunshine for Christmas. It's gonna be great!

Sunshine was great, I'm pleased the Wii has Backwards Compatibility right out of the box unlike the 360 I had to keep my original Xbox as I own a Core.
