Favourite Superhero Game

It seems like a few of us are enjoying Arkham City, so I thought to throw this one into the mix. In days gone by I loved Batman Returns on the SNES, and had a decent time with Shattered Dimensions on the Wii. It was somewhat buggy but hearing all four Spider-Men saying the same lines was surprisingly cool (not being sarcastic!). My favourite, though, was the original Spider-Man game on the PlayStation. The first time I felt the genuine thrill of being a superhero, which runs right throughout Arkham City.

Spider-man 2 was a brilliant for being able to swinging around the city, same with Ultimate Spider-man

I'd have to say Spider-man 2 as well. I spent hours upon hours just exploring the city.

My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I think it was Spiderman 2 that I enjoyed a fair bit. I think I had it on GameCube, and the only thing I really remember about it is webslinging my way through the city and netting street thugs with my silk threads.

As you can probably tell, I'm not massively experienced when it comes to superheroes or superhero games.

Aye, mine was Spiderman 2 on the cube until the batman Arkham games arrived on the scene but saying that though I do love the Prototype series and its a shame that a third won't happen.

The Arkham games probably win it for me, but one overlooked game from last generation that I loved was The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Run a round a big open-world city as the Hulk fighting the military and supervillains and smashing up everything. You could tear a car in half and use it as boxing gloves.

I think I played a demo of that (can't exactly remember) it was also made from the same devs that done Prototype & you can see the similarities.

arkham games but im hoping deadpool will be good
