Hyrule Warriors (The Minish Cap Trick On Switch)

So, new original character announced for Hyrule Warriors 3DS.



I have a sneaking suspicion this is actually the protagonist for Zelda U.

I'm glad the concept art and fan support has got her in, even if it's just these two spin offs.

Exposed flesh where the male version has none! Because female!

*ahem*



Also surely that Linkle design could be much worse.

Especially knowing Koei Tecmo, but they stuck to the concept art what fans saw and got behind.

That's kid Link. The appropriate comparison is surely the adult counterpart. And while it could be worse, I'll agree, that doesn't mean that we should settle for not-dreadful.

If they dressed her the same as her male counterpart wouldn't they just look pretty much the same though.

I wish to marry Linkle

A few fan theories going around, the concept art we know was for a female link we gather and due to support she's became a real character Linkle.

Some are saying the original concept wasn't meant to be a female Link but a more grown up version of Links sister Aryll.

But now as she's Linkle and from a village & has what seems like a cutscene which the other new characters haven't had, that she may have a story missions & is the village she from the same as Hyrule Warriors Link, why does she have that compass and are here crossbows & necklace infused with stones of Din, Farore & Nayru.

I guess were going to have to wait and find-out more about her and will we see her again as I like Jay's idea that in Zelda U you can pick if want to play female or male.

That would be neat but I would prefer Nintendo went the whole way with it and just made a story about a female Link, considering how many years pass between games it wouldn't be out of place at all & would allow them to try something completely new with the story.

Can you imagine the Internet if Linkle is the main character in Zelda U also wasn't in confirmed after we all thought that this Link maybe female was Male but the trailers maybe a reuse.

Tbh how the internet will react to it only makes me want it more, I think the whole female/male link thing for zelda U may have been confusion over translations of what Mr Aonuma said in an interview.

So I don't think it's impossible to have Link be female just because they corrected a certain statement as Nintendo like to surprise folk after all.

Everything about Zelda U has been a Kojimaesque ruse and the main character isn't the Link shown in the trailers.

He is Raiden a horse in every bit of footage we've seen...

Linkle does have a story mode which is exclusive to the 3DS version & so is the Wind Waker map thing but she will be playable in the Wii U version as you can transfer her and the other new characters over.

More info on Linkle over the last few weeks, she was originally designed as a sister like some said and they may consider her for future Zelda games.

That was all from Aonuma, last night / this morning there was a let's play in Japan and we now know her story that her grandmother says she's the hero of legends and her compass is proof of this as it's has the triforce on it.

Due to what's going on in Hyrule, she decides it's time for her to setup.

I am convinced she's the main character for Zelda U now. They're putting a lot of work into this character. And there's going to be so much piss boiled if she is indeed the new protagonist for Zelda U.

If history has taught us anything, it's that change isn't really an issue.

It really isn't, but it's a nigh-on certainty that a depressingly large part of the Zelda fanbase will fling shit if the "Link is a girl this time" theory comes true.
