| How's it not as from Google I can watch it on anime site's etc. But any way you know much about it and is worth checking out the game when it does come.
I enjoyed the naruto game's on 360 without knowing about the series but that did start off from the start of the source material. |

| Ah well yeah Korra ain't bad, it's by no means the last air bender but with book 3 of Korra it became rather good. The first couple of seasons were a bit slow.
So it is worth a watch either way |

| Lets see if I can't give this a bit of a revival that will no doubt fail spectacularly. So, discussion point: what's everyone recently been watching and/or planning on watching this season? Last season wise I watched aldnoah.zero which was effing amazing and everyone needs to watch this ASAP! Especially if you liked the feel of attack on titan, this series also nails the whole mankind on the verge of destruction from an overwhelming force, although spends less of its time introducing people exclusively as death fodder and spends time actually showing them off for more than a scene or two. Also unlike attack on titan the main character is a extremely calm cool headed person who gets through things by seeing weaknesses and exploiting them. Music is by the guy who did attack on titan too. It also does a swell job subverting mecha anime like Gundam nicely, with the enemy faction being the one with the super powered silly super robots, and the main character taking them on on a grunt. This season wise I'm still checking out what's airing, although after watching the amazing fate/stay night unlimited blade works prologue episode I'm definitely following that one, first episode was awesome, a full almost hour long production that sets things up that did the job of making me want to watch the series proper very well. Other shows I might or might not look in to are the new Gundam series known as g-reco, and if anyone locally bothers to pick it up the second series of psycho-pass ( sometimes I hate consuming anime the legal way, we get the retro g-reco simulcast but not even a mutter of the second series of a amazing show ). Also might look in to that series about the teens that get super powers but nothing changes which sounds like a hilarious concept, reminds me of chunibyo only with the powers being real rather than adorkable delusions (side note: watch chunibyo and do it now!, the first series anyway, second series was unneeded). And last there's the second season of " Maybe we're trapped in an mmo but it looks more like a parallel world based on said mmo" anime show Log Horizon, I highly enjoyed what I saw of the first season (although I didn't quiet finish it off) so the second is naturally on my radar. Whew, I didn't think I had that much to say lol. Now to sit back and enjoy the blowing tumbleweed. |

| (remains mum on Gurren Lagann )Dunno what I'll watch next, really. I feel like I should watch one of the "big ones": One Piece, Naruto or Bleach. But I don't think I'd have the staying power. I would quite like to acquire the rest of FMA Brotherhood, having watched the first half. Again, though, it depends on how bothered I can be. Oh, and kudos to Athrun for actually starting discussion, as opposed to just chucking his thoughts into the void. |

| Well I Never But yeah Gurren is brilliant for all the reasons Athrun said which is all I'll say as what I'm thinking now is kinda spoilery in a big way. As for FMA that gets brilliant in the second half right up to the final standoff |

Oh, and kudos to Athrun for actually starting discussion, as opposed to just chucking his thoughts into the void. Hmm, I can't say I'd bother with the big three. Aside from their absolutely vast size One piece is better in manga form, naruto the same before it had stuff happen, and bleach was never really that good. Watch chunibyo instead! If you're going to follow something longish and shounen I'd say go for something like rurouni kenshin instead as it's to the point and ends before it wears out its welcome ( the manga that is, the anime only adapted up to the end of the kyoto arc and doesn't tell the whole story), although since you mentioned fullmetal alchemist brotherhood I'm instead going to suggest you finish that one. That series' best moments are in the second half! In fact the second half was where I went from simply enjoying a pleasant series to absolutely loving brotherhood, it really hits its stride in that second half. Just my two cents. That said if you don't mind stopping early I would actually recommend the first arc of naruto (episodes one to nineteen) as it's really good. It's a short self-contained arc that has some of the best the series has to offer and might satiate your interest in seeing what the fuss is about. Honestly if the series had just ended after that arc I'd have been completely satisfied, it's short and sweet in the best ways. |

| If you did go one of the big 3 I'd say One Piece which is just as brilliant in anime form and is worth watching in its entirety but also doesn't really need to be as well, like you could skip the Skypiea arc for instance if you wanted but the others for the most part delve into a bit of character development.
Naruto is yeah a bit hit and miss but now is ending next month so yeah.
And Bleach was ok in parts but for the most part is was fairly Meh and should have ended a while ago instead of having this stupid arc it's having now.
Another Suggestion is Fairy Tail which takes it's ideals from One Piece and is quite good |

| I've heard good things about Fairy Tail. Good, but very violent, things.
I don't really read manga, so the "the manga is better" argument doesn't hold much water. Also some bits of Naruto have been spoiled, so I'm most likely to tend towards OP out of the three.
But yup, should probably polish off FMAB first. |

| Fairy Tail's one of the worst shounen I've ever watched or read. Terrible writing, awful humour, and character designs and an artstyle that's refused to evolve in the past 15 years. Go back and look at Rave Master, the long running series he did before FT and you'll notice that everythings the same, including the main character.
You should definitely finish Brotherhood though, then maybe check out Silver Spoon afterwards (same author but completely different story, has a 22 episode anime that was one of the best of the past year).
If you're dead set on the big three, Bleach has by far the strongest start but collapses after a few seasons, Naruto has its high points but can't keep it up while One Piece is consistently good and it's format makes the filler less noticeable, so choose that one, I guess. |

| Why Mr. Slazo, how nice to see you outside of the wrestling threads! That's a fairly big attack on FT. Not like it was on my "to watch immediately" list or anything, but yup, that has put me off it. I'm not "dead set" on anything, but OP seems to be well-liked. Silver Spoon I've never heard of, but it being by the chap behind FMAB is a recommendation on its own. |

| I feel as though Bleach is being misrepresented a little bit here. Although, without even having to watch One Piece, it's clearly the weakest of the big three it still has some redeeming features. The cast contains some very likeable and memorable characters most of whom are very well written in terms of back-story. The fights are also positively epic and unlike Naruto the characters can never really be considered "op" because of the nature of their power which means they're always exciting to watch. However, beyond the cool characters and cool fights the actual plot line itself is perhaps a little less than foolproof and, having taken up the manga after the Arrancar saga ended, I kinda wish Kubo had just spent a few volumes tying up the loose ends instead of whatever it is he's doing now. Lastly, the dub is better than the sub. There, said it. Currently I'm watching Naruto Shippuden and have almost caught up with SAO2 and, while it's not strictly an anime, I've been watching korra too. All three of which are super cool. I do however reserve the right to be "pretty bummed" that Naruto is going to end within the next 20 or so episodes (3 volumes of the manga left but the anime is lagging behind considerably) so I don't really know what I'm going to do with myself after that. But yea, another point of concussion: What are your favourite Studio Ghibli films? I've watched Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Nausicaa of the Vally of the Wind and Howl's Moving Castle. I'm off this week for half term, see so I was wondering which I should watch I which ones I should avoid. Discuss! |

| I'm a bit ashamed to admit this but I've yet to actually see a Ghibli film. I think one might have been played back when I was having my tonsils removed as a kid, but I was such a brat back then I didn't pay attention and can't know for certain. So I guess I'm in the market for ghibli suggestions as well! They seem like something that would go well with the upcoming holiday season! |

| Did anyone watch Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun last season? I found that to be an entertaining comedy. It builds up to its funny moments stealthily, which made them all the better to watch, and the viewpoint character's expressions never fail to amuse. - Athrun888 wrote:

Same here. I've seen Howl's Moving Castle, though that was really an adaptation. Good though, but generally I prefer the episodic format to the movie format. Otherwise I'd probably have watched them by now. |

| Currently watching Sword Art Online II, I just finished episode 6 and I'm liking this series so far with it being a vast improvement over the fairy dance arc. Kirito's new trap avatar for Gun Gale Online is hilarious, doubly so when he fooled Sinon in to thinking he was a girl because it was simpler than explaining the truth. Also liking Sinon a lot, she's got some nice attitude, although I suspect it won't be long before Kirito adds a new fiesty sniper to his ever expanding harem.
Only complaint so far is the continued sidelining of Asuna, although at least this time it's simply because Kirito is in a different mmo and not that incredibly demeaning trapped princess incident in Fairy Dance. To be honest between the demeaning situation of Asuna and the not-sister crush plotline that arc pissed me off so much that it's the entire reason it's taken me this long to even start sao 2.
So, what's everyone else watching (if anything) right now? |

| I too am watching SAO2. Although I'm all up to date with it so to avoid dropping spoliers I'll just say that I enjoyed the GGO arc a lot and Asuna's sidelining continues until the end of the arc. I recently finished watching blood lad which is a horror/comedy about an otaku vampire that's trying to resurrect a girl who accidentally ended up in the demon world where she was eaten by a plant. It is a good series despite some of the characters being somewhat under developed (It's only an 11 episode series- the second series hasn't been given a release date yet as far as I know). I'd recommend it to everyone but some references will go over your head if you aren't familiar with some of the bigger mainstream anime. 697/1000 |
