That aside, impossible to argue with any of those votes, even the less-serious ones (come back Reggieeeeee!)

I was equally delighted to see the results of the best contributor award, which I must admit I copped out of voting for given how ridiculously difficult it was to choose just one person. I'm glad masofdas made it in there, too, I really appreciate the enthusiasm he places in all his posts, reminds me of the early NGamer forum days before I went all cynical.

Had I known I could do honourable mentions for all the categories (and this is where someone tells me I didn't read the instructions properly) I'd have had a lot to say though...next year!

Vidofnir is a good shout, though I have to admit awesomedude completely slipped my mind when it came to voting. Afraid

Awesomedude was an enigma, but they were our enigma.

In the harsh(ish) light of day, I think sending Vido an e-mail might be a good idea. Just to let him know that we're thinking of him. (I sound like a hung-up ex, which I guess is appropriate given the results...)

Also, a brief IP check confirms that Awesomedude was either not an alternate account, or somebody has been covering their tracks very carefully...

Why don't you email everyone who hasn't been on in a while? Word it like your some kind of advanced machine that has adopted the mannerisms of a man who is almost exactly like yourself. They'll be so amazed that they'll have to return to see what the fuss is about.
Seriously though, I'm really enjoying these results posts, even if Brunei didn't win.

When I'm on my wii U I do still see Vido's name pop up from time to time, so busy playing games? Tired of Masofdas liking The last story? Razz

Crikey, you're right! Sorry for the omission, Buska. My eyes had turned to soup by the time I'd sifted through all the entries for this category. Had we had a good half a dozen commenters, they would've been dropped into the corresponding part of the post.

There was a lot to go at in tagline terms. I'm pleased that some of my contributions made it and the right winner has been chosen. Grin

What a perfect way to start the day. Smile

I like how the top half of Reggie's face is the jolliest fat man babyface but the bottom half is the grin of a terrifying man-ogre that eats puppies. He might make fun games, but he kicks ass and takes names as well.
