| it should be what i didnt buy yesterday went to get monster hunter on wiiu but indy store only had 2 copys in both preorders and game was also soldout had about 6 copys in total (thats both versiosn), so ordered it in store but spoke to ibbsters from twitter i decided to cancel when i got home. not sure how i will be refunded as half was paid card the other trade in but anyway im in the progress of downloading monster hunter on wiiu for £50 arggh but i wanted to play some of this before bioshock etc takes all my time. of course i get £5 back from nintendo network preminum which will help towrds punch out as im now poor and 30p seems a lot plus with ducktales etc coming be useful for that.
due to nintendo stuff being a pain to get hold i preordered luigi mansion 2 as game are only getting in a limited amount like with monster hunter, would of got from indy but i want that boo stress ball.
and also preordered lego city in indy store which was a bit of pain as they were only getting two copys in which were both preorders but now they are getting a whooping 4 copys in with one being mine and all ready paid off to make sure they get it in.
and i did pick up catherine again but for ps3 now (had on 360) as its a brillant game |

Indeedy! Although I didn't get as far as that before the pad died. |

You really should be buying games online to avoid disappointments like that, I started doing this a year or so ago & I've never looked back since. |

| Even so, it's a bit shoddy that you buy something, it breaks, and then have to get it repaired - are you paying to have it repaired? |

No- being as it is under a week old, it's still under warranty, so Nintendo will repair it for free. They even send out a label so I don't have to pay postage. A cursory Google suggests that it's happened to a lot of other people, so I'm guessing it's a design fault. |

| If they're repairing it for free, it means it's a fault with the hardware, usually how it works. |

True, but 1. online is cheaper & 2. with rewards schemes such as shoptos over time the price will be even better and most importantly you don't normally have to worry about stock issues. |

| I take it there's nothing I can do without the gamepad whatsoever? Not even sign up for Nintendo Network or play VC games? |

| Sadly not - the Wii Remote will only get you so far (i.e. launching a Wiimote-centric game), and the eShop can only be navigated with a GamePad so even purchasing an NES VC game is out of limits. Bah. |

| yes agree online is cheaper and shopto reward scheme is pretty good, but local indy store which i need start using more instead of game. most games are about same price as online like lego city is 39.99 in there and shopto is 39.85 so not much differnce and there reward scheme is excellent in store .when i bought paper mario on 3ds with my trades which you earn poins on aswell i had enough points for spiderman on the mega drive yay which was £3.99. |

| Yesterday I bought Kid Dracula for the original Game Boy. I've heard many excellent things about it, and a few YouTube videos convinced me that it may be a hidden gem. |

| Dead Island GOTY on 360. £14.
This is after buying Rhythm Thief and Kid Icarus yesterday. And that Wii U, with Nintendo Land and Zombi U. And Sonic Transformed on 360. And NiGHTS, PB Winterbottom and Axel & Pixel in the last XBLA sale, none of which I've actually played yet.
...I think I might have a problem. |

| A roll of brown packing paper, so I can finally get that GamePad sent off.
Anyway, let's play a game: who can guess what I did with said paper when I got home? Did I:
a/ Use it to wrap the box like a grown-up, or b/ Swing it around the room making lightsabre noises and occasionally play it like a digeridoo?
...I turn 28 next month. |

...I turn 28 next month. We all need to have some fun every now and again. I still make poses lifted out of anime like I'm in high school from time to time Anyway, took this with my DSi before loading up Platinum for a bit of training. Nothing beats going to the post office and being handed a huge package. - Spoiler:
With this I now have the whole series , all new which I didn't think I could do since they're fairly old novels and probably going out of print.
