Today's buys, The indie game shop in Exeter only does retro and when he get's some DC stuff in he gives me a ring. Went into get Street Fighter III but ended up with that lot and it was pricey. I did take the master system I bought a few pages ago in and got a good price for that, so I spent £65 cash on this little lot.

Technically a few days ago but they were shipped yesterday.

I'm really looking forward to both of these, the demo's I've heard for persona 4 reincarnation sound great (and I've already heard I'll face Myself which was excellent) and I can't wait to hear the full versions in crystal clear dynamic audio which if the demo's are anything to go by they'll greatly benefit from.  As for the other one, gundam unicorn ost 4 wrapping up the four volume long score for the anime.  Like p4r I've only heard the demo's because I really don't want to ruin the experience with listening to the full versions on, say, youtube, which can't do justice to the instrumentation that will be on show.  Not only that but they're back to being on blu-spec discs which is great, Unicorn's second and third soundtracks didn't sound as crisp quite as much as as the first one did, whether they just weren't mastered as well or because they went from a blu-spec to regular disc for those two I don't know but either way I'm very glad to see them go back to it.

Got these couple of beauties yesterday:

Yesterday I Bought - Page 31 WP_000454_zpsee53d3ed
arrived through the post from the States

and

Not like i need any more 'cubes really but i'd kinda like all the console variations Smile Even better it cost me no real money. I traded a load of stuff i haven't used in a couple of years to a local indie retro shop and netted £175 of store credit. Was also tempted by a couple of Segs MCD setups he had, but resisted.

How much was the Cube it's self, I've recently bought on eBay a spice orange cube from japan but as it was only as few days ago. I could be waiting a while for it to turn up but it was only £45 with P&P. I nearly bought a pearl white one from the same indie shop as the few bit's above but he want £40 for it which I thought was a tad to much.

£70. Ok not cheap, i admit, but its pristine example and i could examine it in person, rather than trust to luck using the postal network. Still leaves me over a ton of credit, so i figured, why not?

Will do, I did post in the collections thread not that long ago about collecting for the Cube like do you have any of the weird french double packs etc. But looking how many games there are for the Cube I doubt I will collect them all, but have been looking at maybe collecting for one of my other consoles, with the Wii U looking the most likely. it might seem a strange one to collect for but the library is rather small at the moment and with 3rd party being scares could end up being a small overall when it is replaced. I know Stu has a big DS & 3DS collection as he seems to buy every release, so a similar thing could be done for the U maybe not buying likes of barbie dreamhouse day one but close to there or any bargains Cappa post's.

There's some German 2 in 1 collections, French 2 in ones and also some Australian double packs i don't have....but all of those games i own seperately as a solus version, so i consider those low priority as they don't count towards a full set. They're lovely extras/bonuses/novelties/showpieces whatever you want to call them...but not essential.

Nothing the matter with going for a full set of WiiU. I think there's a thread on retrocollect somewhere dedicated to just that idea. Hang on, here you go, might help you out a bit:

Thanks I'll check that out, I could do the same for PS4 or Xbox One but both end up huge library's and a lot of sport titles, also don't hold the same mystique as Nintendo or SEGA does.

Yeah thought so I feel the same with one or two dreamcast titles.

Yesterday (yes!) I got some of the valuable ore called 'Mariokartate' from Gemstones And Minerals Evaluated. Exchanged some of the lesser-valued Kidicarus and Theatrythum for it to get the price down.

Bought all the Mass Effect novels and Mario Kart 8 last week. Then on Saturday went to a board game convention in Birmingham for my dad's birthday. Hadn't planned to buy anything but somehow came home with an old Star Trek game, an independently made game based on HG Wells' War of the Worlds and a Fighting Fantasy book signed by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson.

A decent wee mix today:

Mario Kart 8 (Wii U - £26.04 with postage @ Zavvi)
Disney Epic Mickey (Wii - £2.24 with postage @ Amazon Marketplace)
Alice in Wonderland (DS - £2.00 @ Cash Converters)
Die Hard Trilogy (PSone - 50p @ Shelter)
NFL Blitz 2000 (Dreamcast - £2.00 @ Marie Curie...bought this as I recall Jaster hyping it up)
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? (Dreamcast - £2.00 @ Marie Curie...the box was in mint condition, and now houses my copy of Sonic Adventure 2)

I'm in no panic, I'm not going anywhere you can sell it to me 3 years time if you want.

On stuff I bought

Yesterday I Bought - Page 31 2014_111

Mario Kart 8 was £30.99 from GAME after using some reward points and vouchers, it also came with the wheel & starter pack thing.

If you see the conversation above between me and grundies, I'm thinking about full setting (as he put it) the Wii U as I'm a bit of collectomaniac actually hoarder might be a better word as I never try to collect all the pokemon or something in a game.

Any way getting to the point ZombiU was £6 from ASDA as all ASDAs have been sent old WiiU stock, that's all we had apart from FIFA 13 & Just Dance 4 but those were still a tad pricy.

The rest of the fine bunch, I got because of cappa who might not of posted in the bargain section for a while but I tried a few of the links and got that lot from the game collection for £24, £4.80 per game which is a rather good price I think for likes of Injustice maybe not Your Shape Fitness though. And I paid that £24 via paypal which was helped funded by the £15 I got for the free mario kart 8 promo game, so only cost me £9 really of my own money.

So £45.99 of my own hard earned cash, not bad at all for that lot.
