Today

Went to go get my Wii Sports Club which still hasn't come in but they gave me three free entries to the arcade they've got.

But did buy Pokemon Colosseum on Cube for £6, it's a bit ropey condition and no memory card but £6 is a good price.
Also picked up from Argos Pokemon Black on DS for £7.99 which is a great price and GAME will match CEX, so that's £14 trade. So thinking play use transporter on 3DS then trade in for something on the Wii U.

Some quality, quality stuff added to my collection.



I'd only asked for Spyro, but to my surprise a very generous member of Retro Gamer threw in the superb Ridge Racer Type 4 and Metroid Fusion, a game I've always been meaning to give a chance. Boom Blox at a quid in CEX was one I did a double-take at, and not because I'd had four pints and four Glenrothes beforehand.

I've also spent those 6,000 Nintendo Points, adding Hydroventure, Castlevania Rebirth, Contra Rebirth, Rush Rush Rally Racing, Let's Catch and Eco Shooter Plant 530 to my SD card.

Ah spyro 2, that brings back memories, really good game.




These arrived in the mail today (thus ending the latest saga of angry rants about slow mail when I've paid for express), hooray some video games!!  




With persona 4 ultimax coming out soon I figured I should get the first game already, and after the praise people seem to give tales of symphonia it was high time it got added to the backlog.

This is what I bought yesterday

for the small price of £119.99, it's minty fresh. It even has the brand new smell still, comes with two controllers which the d-pad/stick thing feeling really nice.

Only problems I had to buy a stepdown converter which will come in handy for another £14.99 and I've got no games and the shop hand none, so only a cd has been used to test it and I'm missing a way to plug it in to the TV. The shop used cables they had to put on, I've got a Mega Drive scart to fit with an adapter but sound wasn't coming out. So got to order a proper scart from eBay and some games.

Also got The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Strategy Guide which covers the N64 original, I don't own that but got the ports on the cube which it will of course cover for £9.99.

Not here as of typing but also got NBA 2K13 on Wii U for £2 + £1 postage.

Cappa what Retro Forum you using as I want to find more info about the Neo Geo CD, I've been on the retro gamer (the magazine) forum but seems to be hardly any posts on anything, and tried the retro collect forum which is also quite quiet.

Another game!  Yes, shocking, I bought another actual game, and it wasn't a jrpg either!



Brand new, last copy the seller had.  I wasn't actually going to buy anything today but given that coupled with it not being available on the other sites I buy games from I figured I'd better act now.

A haircut, I'm free!!  Oh, and these arrived in the post today.  



Surprisingly express mail actually acted like express mail this time and I got my game less than 24 hours after it got shipped.  Meanwhile two arrange soundtracks, the third black mages album and my third (out of four) falcom zanmai soundtrack

The Bass, I bought for £50. It's not a great one by any means but will get me going and if I do get on with playing will looking into getting better.

Also AMP & Leads, Strap are on there way.

The finale of the last bunch of purchases in the mail.



At long last I'll be able to finish Burn Notice, up to this point it's been one of my favourite recent tv series and the delays for these two seasons really got on my nerves, but alas they are finally both out and now in my possession! Oh, and the latest Disgaea game as well, at 30 dollars it was cheap even by import standards so I had to snap it up.

Jokes aside though the series is awesome, started off as a more quirky kind of show but over the seasons it's turned in to a thriller that puts james bond to shame. Plus who doesn't like having huge explosions every episode in a series?

Is season six better than season sex?   

Tonight, I found out Chicken Shoot of Wii infamy is on Steam for 50p. I bought it... and it came with a sequel. It is as bad as they say. The sequel is a carbon copy, except the scenery is winter themed instead of farm themed.

Oh yeah I need to get season 6 and 7 of Burn notice

I own a current gen Nintendo console again!



Can't wait to get tucked into Pokemon.   

Huzzah!  Enjoy it, especially LM2 - I certainly did.

One thing I've really missed is how on a Nintendo console is that even setting the thing up is more fun than other consoles. There's lovely little themes everywhere and a real Nintendo sparkle to the whole affair.

Yeah, heard very good things about LM2, so excited for that too! I'm just excited in general about this.
