| That's cool - at leas they're being clear as to why etc. - Knytt Underground was about the same price originally, and that took about 20 hours, so I don't imagine they're going to gyp us. |

| For fans of intrigue, mas is essentially referring to me. I've received and used a download code for Affordable Space Adventures. So far - and I'm not through the tutorial yet - it's brilliant. The production values are sky high, with the game itself like a 21st century Solar Jetman. |

| Is anyone else affordably adventuring in space? In between massive bouts of frustration, I am having lots of The Fun. Dark, atmospheric and extremely slick, so it is. |

| Aye I'm adventuring affordably in space also, currently up to level 14 and the use of the gamepad is excellent not just in how you control your ship but also how it uses audio cues as well.
Also out of the reviews I've read I can absolutely see how great fun this would be in co-op with 2 other people. |

| I've also got to a point that has me completely stumped, I need enough weight to make an elevator move but if I have too much power the enemy just kills me. |

| I would of agreed but from reviews, I've read of the quality & length of it. That it's most likely with every penny.
It reason I've not downloaded yet as I don't know when I will have time to play. |

| I seen a good point about this the other day which basically said if you are having fun with a game then who cares how much it cost you, I find it bizarre that people do this with games but they don't bat an eyelid when it comes to films, books or music. |

| I said the very thing about The Order, I enjoyed it and got my moneys worth but some due to the lack of content thought that should of been cheaper the full price which if true should Fallout 4 be more expensive due the vast amount of content it likely have.
The reason I think price is a issue compared to let's say films is, if you buy a new chart dvd it's likely £10 and about 1hr 30mins long at least, there more universal where games can be 90 Minutes long to 90 hours long from downloads to retail, that people do look at what there getting for there money.
I know people turn there noise up to indies as there not £40-50 even though you get quality games but because there not £40-50 retail they must be bad.
So like you said if you enjoy the game and get what you deem to be your moneys worth then that's all that should matter, just that you need to download the game first in ASA case. |

| Two points, that are resolutely disconnected. 1) ASA seems to have little replay value, unless you do separate single- and multi-player runs. I can't see myself coming back to it once it's all over. 2) The bit I mentioned earlier? I must have spent three hours on it by now. I'm trying to negotiate my way past a laser barrier (and don't want to spoil it!). I hit the switch and got across the gap... or would have, if I'd not hit some sort of bug that didn't lower the barrier. |

| Nothing is priced because of the amount of content that it does or doesn't have though, so if a game lasts 100+ hours my answer would be no it shouldn't cost more and as games have infinitely more replay value than other mediums of entertainment I think money/cost should be less of a factor.
ASA is great fun and not once have I thought "I've paid too much for this" while playing it and since you brought up The Order, for me it wasn't the length that put me off it but the bare-bones gameplay. |

| That's your opinion on The Order, but the general one was it's only 5 hrs (took me 7), has no MP and no point in doing again at lest right away and Sony want to charge £49.99 for it they must be mad.
Which led to me bringing up something like a Fallout 4, which is likely going to be 100= hrs.
I'm going on what seems to be the general thing brought up about games and cost is that it's indie & not £40-50 = bad and if short should be cheaper. |

| After flicking the beast down to 'Easy' (easy, now), I've only gone and ruddy done it. There will be a review soon, when I can decide what to give it. |

16.7/20. I haven't started playing it yet! Pile of shame. Once I've got through Shovel Knight and the first Metroid Prime, I'll have a go. See you all in 2016 then. |

I know where you were coming from and I was agreeing with you in how ridiculous it was for some people to dismiss it (the order) because of the length etc I was also just pointing out that wasn't the only reason people had & that it was equally ridiculous for folk to dismiss ASA because of it's price. - Jimbob wrote:

Those are some fine games to stop you from playing ASA, now get them played. |

Or, maybe not - here is wordage: http://gintendo-namer.squarespace.com/reviews/2015/4/13/affordable-space-adventures. Can only agree with Jas on your playlist, Jimbob - classics, the both of them. Which one are you going to do first?

| Good review Zero, I have passed it on to KnapNok, also that is the first game we've got a code for that has had a favourable review.
Also 8/10 = 16/20 which means Jim was the nearest giving me 1 point, go team mas. |

| Pretty sure I gave Roundabout full marks Mas Nice review Zero, I'm somewhat looking forward to this, it will be after a price drop though, I never get enough out of downloads. |

| I totally forgot about Roundabout it's just not as memorable as Frenchy Bird. See Jas, Andy is one of those people that because it's a download won't pay £16.99 for it as it's a download |

| Yeah, because I won't play it I know that downloads are worth the spend on handheld, but on a console I have better (more exciting) things to be playing |
