| That is a good comparison Jay bit not sure I want pay £40 for a download though of a game to start with might be okay but might end up great but is it worth the risk.
That buying the disc version might better for me, just that I might be on my own in the Paris location. |

Now that you mention it, it is similar to Splatoon and if the content is regular it will only keep things fresh and the players coming back for more & be willing to play it over a longer period of time. - masofdas wrote:

If they get a good player base from the get go & the new content is released on a regular basis then I don't see why you would be on your own, it's definite risk but not as certain as you may think. |

| I'm saying people there from Day One now might be playing in the 6th location San Diego where I'm playing in Paris. |

| Oh I see surely there will be others who will wait on the retail copy as well though, I imagine this game might have leaderboards as well to make folk return to previous locations. |

| Maybe Jas, I am interested in it and hopefully when it comes to a disc there is a lot of content and others pick it up. |

| They've also said there'll be exclusive timed locations/hits so those that get the disc may never get to try those levels. |

| Jade Raymond has formed a new studio called Motive based in Montreal near Bioware all under EA and will be working on Amy Hennig’s Visceral's Star Wars game along with new ideas.
This comes of the back of EA putting Samantha Ryan as head of the company’s mobile division, meaning EA has a strong representation of women in the games industry. |

| I don't know if anyone has seen but Nintendo plan to do there own version of loot crate with the N-Box, so far only confirmed for the UK according to MCV where you'll be able to get the N-Box on Nintendo's store as just that months box if you only want that theme and no others like Jas would love a Metroid but not a Pokemon but if you want to sub you can with 3, 6 or 12 Month's.
What's everyone thoughts, is this cool or is just even more monthly boxes to maybe sub to. |

| I'm not subbed to any other package things like loot crate etc so I'd be well up for this, I'd probably only start out with the 3 month option though. |

| The idea of these are brilliant and I've seen some good boxes being sent out which I'm envious of but I imagine I'd amass so much clutter before long. |

| The Lords of Shadow bods are or were involved with a cross-platform Metroid.
Weren't the LoS games rubbish? Apart from the 3DS one, which was alright. Add that to the "seven other bounty hunters" mentioned, not so much putting a spanner in Metroid's aching loneliness as grabbing the spanner and whacking it across the head, and I think I'd be okay if this one got shelved. |

| Well as the article says on that This is a similar set-up to that seen in the DS game, Metroid Prime: Hunters. and Federation Force has more then more then one character as well. |

| And that's one reason I won't be shelling out for Federation Force. There are others. I never enjoyed Hunters much either. |

| The first LoS is brilliant, definitely the best one. The second one is meant to be a bit of a mess including some apparently dreadful forced stealth sections, not tried that one myself though, however on the whole that sounds like a good thing to me. |

| I don't think I could take another "not a proper Metroid" Metroid game. |

| I'm not sure whether we actually discussed the news item behind our current tagline? Basically Chris Pranger, a member of Nintendo's localisation team, was a bit too outspoken on a gaming podcast and got himself fired. Here's Nintendo Life's take on it.

| I think it was the Sakurai business more than anything else that got him the sack - it didn't paint Sakurai in a flattering light whatsoever. |

| I'm sad for Mr. Pranger - to the point of feeling slightly guilty about the flippancy of the tagline, which is one of mine - but if he broke his contract in any way, he has to take responsibility for that. On the other hand, it could be good for Nintendo to relax its heavy-handed approach to this kind of thing (remember Dan Adelman?). |

| Pretty much agree with Zero on this. Pranger knew the terms of the contract, but then again, NL makes a very good point about some awful canned Nintendo comms. in the past. I suspect that might be a Western/Japanese thing. |

| SEGA have announced Phantasy Star Online 2 for PS4 and like Push Square has said the PS4 is turning into a Dreamcast fans dream with that & Shenmue III on the console.
Bioware have said none of the characters in the Mass Effect Trilogy will appear in Andromeda. |
