| No ban, Tecmo chose not to release it because they thought it would be poorly received. |

| What Drunka said, Tecmo didn't want stick that were not getting in the west via a western retailer because of SJW according to them.

| I'm really not sure how I feel about it. I don't see the issue with the game myself. If it's crap it should get crap reviews and not do well. It bothers me that anyone should have to fear the backlash because of the content they've chosen to base their game on. Nobody would care if it was the other way around, I don't see why something like that shouldn't be allowed to exist. Maybe it's simply the fact that it wouldn't happen the other way around due to lack of interest or something, I just don't see the point in complaining about every single games representation of women, regardless of how progressive. |

| I'm not in the mood right now, but bring this up again later Andy. It is a bad thing which furthers horrible ideas men have, and are constantly encouraged to have, about women. |

Have a tug or a strum, get it out of your system. If you then still feel the need to be surrounded by naked ladies as you enjoy other things, that's nothing more than a misogynistic desire to exert male dominance and you need to look at yourself and make a change.

This is especially problematic as the RPG is one of the most played genres for women.
I have no problem with anyone ogling pretty people. However, an industry built on treating women as eye candy is harmful and if a desire to constantly be surrounded by nude women separate from sexual urges doesn't make you question yourself, that's a problem. |

| I think Jim's take on the whole SJW situation with this is right.
Tecmo have put out a official stance and haven't denied or confirmed that the games coming to the West or not and if SJW's is the reason it looks like it won't come to the west.
You'll love the Senran Kagura Versus games up date, Drunka. Which is coming to the west. |

| It might just be my ignorance about the game itself, but to me the issues don't seem a lot worse than a lot of other games. I enjoy rune factory and its frankly ridiculous relationship system of bribing a girl with strawberries until she'll marry me. From what I've heard of the older DoAX games they play a decent game of volleyball, not a sport that gets a lot of games made about it. To me the game just sounded like a silly, throwaway bit of fun - something I've found about the actual fighting games when compared to other series. I do believe there are issues in the fact it is only the female characters, but I just don't think of it in the way you do. To me they're just game characters, it doesn't seem any worse than any other stupid fantasy.

| I'm definitely on the wrong side of this argument then, aren't I? I do see why Drunka thinks what he does, but I just can't believe that the majority that would think that way. |

| Ehh, it's not the worst thing in the world but games like this should have been left in the past. There is a reason this sort of thing gets made instead of a game that treats the sport of volleyball seriously, and there's a reason you don't get products treating the male figure the same way. And those reasons are the same reasons we need feminism.
This particular case wound me up because of the chatter about "SJWs ruining things" and the misuse of the term "bantz". Using your economic power to deliberately fight progression is a similar kind of bantz to having a column in the paper every week to deny climate change, or making jokes about immigrants, or confusing "hey guys, lets think about the impact of our words a little" with "PC gone mad."
And that's the last thing I'll say on DOAX3, it really isn't worth my time at all. |

| Oh yeah, there's no doubt that the comment was an awful thing and that did deserve some flack, I just don't see why the game can't exist myself. |

| "News" in its most tenuous sense. Predictions, people? A new Pokémon game with microtransactions? New mobile game: a Mario endless runner? Sonic Boom 2? The possibilities are endless! |

My money is on Minecraft even if it's not indie any more. |

Welp, there lies my hype levels dead on the floor then. I'll admit I just want my Smash direct already. As an aside, I've been laughing (metaphorically of course) a hell of a lot today after the reveal that Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be sold in parts. Seeing this news happen to something sony fanboys have been touting as the Nintendo killer is just so so delicious. Already seen some delicious tears. Now all we need is the reveal it's coming to the NX and my day will be complete. |

| I don't mind it being sold in parts at all , if this makes it better and the PS4 has countless more JRPGs coming like Ni No Kuni 2 that there's plenty more to play.
Also I don't think Sony need a Nintendo killer seeing the PS4 is 20m in front of the Wii U and NX starts on 0 midway through a generation. |

| Oh definitely, alas those fully embroiled in the fanboy wars don't see that Sony's position is already cemented and Nintendo seems pretty happy not even competing in the same race either.
I'm still not sure whether this split part move is more for quality or money though. The game if it's to be on the same scale probably does need this sort of treatment, but at the same time given square enix's current history I'm just not sure whether they'll strictly stick to that or be cheap as well.
Still, can't blame a company for milking a cow that's got the milk. As long as they maintain a high level of quality and don't harm the consumers I have no personal problems with the move, and I can even see plenty of perks as well, such as seeing it launch earlier than if it was one big title. |

| I'm on my phone at the moment, so no link but reports are coming out in Japan that Kojima has now left Konami.
And is in talks with Sony to bring a game to them who I gather will give him the financials, to form his new studio and take his key team members from Konami with him.
I'm predicting now, Kojima will be on Sony's E3 2016 stage. |

| If that's true, you could only call it a good move for him - why go anywhere else but the biggest gig in town? I assume he can't take Metal Gear with him, so it should be refreshing for him to start with a blank slate. Good luck, Kojima-san-dude. |

| You just have to look at his games most are on PlayStation platforms and has highly praised PlayStation before that like you say go to the biggest gig.
The thing is he's such a huge name, it makes you think why someone like Nintendo try signing him up and get his game on NX only.
Anyway I can't wait for Iron Luggage Firm
