I'll get back to you Drunka to show you why it would.
Well the Mega Drive mini seems to be the awful AtGames one we've already got but SEGA are releasing it in Japan.
I'll post the actual worth while news elsewhere when I get home.

@Balla: I just wrote down a rumour that I’d seen on NintendoLife (or maybe Twitter? ). Either way, given how bad my 2017 predictions were, it’s about time something came up for me!

So, it was some Shenmue 1 & 2 remasters which I'm quite happy about as I never did finish 2 back in the day.

I would try those on Switch. Not quite sure why they're not coming to Switch - they can't be too pressing on the technology, surely?

I'd say because there's no existing or future fanbase there.

Wouldn't that sort of apply to Xbox One though, sure Shenmue II was on the OG Xbox but far as we all know Shenmue III isn't going to be on it.
It's one of those strange things like Kingdom Hearts III is coming to Xbox One yet no other game is on that system and the prologue is PS4 exclusive that I think it's a case that both consoles are similar why not put on both for both of those games.
I remember a real baffling one though Crimson Sea which is a OG Xbox game got a sequel but exclusive to PS2, never made any sense to me as neither console owner could play the other game.

Quite apart from what Mas says about it coming to the X1 despite this, I can't believe that at all. People were doing their usual clamouring for it on Twitter, and heck, if I'm interested (having never played the games before but having heard a lot about them), I can't be the only one.

You are aware of what "or" means, right?
There's a subset of people who will beg for anything on Switch, I don't think that's a realistic representation of anything and I just don't see how releasing a niche game on a system it has no history or plans to release an upcoming game for and a smaller player base makes any sense.

It represents potential players, surely? Maybe not a whole load, but the number of comments (in general, I don't know how many actually commented about Shenmue) shows that the desire is there. Anyway, I feel that priced correctly you'd get a fair few people willing to play a renowned classic on the go: I feel its status might allow it to break out of that niche.
What's more, I assume it'd be relatively cheap to produce, and if it sold well then you could release the threequel and make more money. If not, you've not lost a great deal. If my assumption is correct, I don't see the sense in not releasing it on Switch. (If it's not then carry on I guess.)

There's a problem with the last point in that Sega couldn't care any less about how Shenmue 3 does. I'd say if anything they wouldn't want to be the ones to test the water and that Ys Net & Deep Silver can suffer that fate if they decide to port 3 at a later date.

It's true, I haven't factored in the funny behaviours of the company concerned (most companies have some). Ho hum.

Just to say I'm buying it on both PS4 & Xbox seeing it's only £30 per game but I would buy a Switch version with the £10 cart-tax on top of that or over the Xbox version if money was tight.
Push Square have put this up talking about the games importance but for newcomers and a few other sites have as well but I'm fully expecting someone on here to pick it up and go what the hell is.
This comparison video going around and the re-release does look better then I thought it would (sorry about the awful music)

What, as in the same game, simultaneously, for two consoles? I'm struggling to follow this as it is.

Yep becasue it's Shenmue, mate.
I've done it a few times in the past with COD, FIFA due to mates and Soulcalibur II, I bought on all 3 systems day one as I'm mad, did trade in the PS2 version in rather quickly though.

MS has announced the accessibility controller
It's the square thing in the middle, that has about 20 headphone jacks at the back and a few USB slots as you can see from the picture other things can be plugged into it be it buttons, other controllers, joysticks.
Which means you get this
The other bit of news after 7 years Sony is stopping production of physical VITA games in the West from March 2019 which goes alongside the new of PlayStation Plus games will also stop then for VITA and PS3.
The VITA might be the butt of jokes but 7 years for a system is good going with such as small install base, the good news digital games look like they will continue and physical games in Asia that I hope likes of PlayAsia, EastAsiaSoft continue with physical VITA games and more in that region have English (or your language) support.

It's £75 then you've got to buy stuff to plug into it but from the Special Effects website

Great stuff. Making gaming accessible is such an important thing - I'm glad one of the Big Three are tackling this well.
Xbox have done a lot of really great things since the disastrous ONE launch to the point where if they keep up the good work and continue backwards compatibility on their next machine, I'm tempted to jump from Sony to Microsoft for my second machine.

I'm using my Xbox One more and more now due to Backwards Compatibility, Game Pass and in my case the X with its POWER! but the PlayStation exclusives will always keep me there as they're just too good from 1st party and the relationships especially from Japan, that more content will always win out for me.
