| Episode 21 of Attack on Titan was just absolutely insane. I've no doubt people are sick of me banging on about this show, but after that episode I simply have to say something. The arc had been building up tension for the last four or so episodes to the point episode 20 ended with the tension so thick you could hit someone with it, but even it wasn't preparation for this episode. I honestly don't think I've seen something that brutal, emotional, and wtf inducing in an anime to be frank, heck it comes really close to being a top TV episode of mine ever. This show once again exceeded my own expectations. |

| Oi! I haven't watched it yet! (It's not up on CrunchyRoll until Sunday morning unless one subscribes.) That said, the title did make me think that this episode wasn't exactly going to be laugh-a-minute. |

| I forgot Crunchy makes you wait a week. Madman started streaming the show here in aus a while back and last week started fast tracking it, so we've got episode 21 available right now only a few days after it aired in Japan. For what it's worth I had more spoilers than just hype when I watched it and honestly it didn't really change my experience one way or the other. Just continue a blackout and go in with a open mind and you're probably good. |

| What are you using to watch it, Jay? It's obviously quicker than Crunchy. |

| It's one of those generic rubbishy anime streaming sites. I wouldn't touch it without AdBlock though. Not sure on the legitimacy of it either if you're worried about that, considering Crunchy is backed by TV Tokyo and is thus a legitimate way to watch. |

| Quality's a little lower than Crunchy, but not so much that it's an issue - I watched in fullscreen and didn't notice a difference. |

| Well since folks are up to date now I can post spoilers on more thoughts. - Attack on Titan episode 21 spoilers, and future predictions:
What a lovely and brutal episode. Deaths galore, the fight of the series, and an awesome cliffhanger with Mikasa finally getting some screen time again. Also the songs used once again lent to giving the scenes way more power, the timing of Vogel im Kafig ( last seen during Eren's transformation inside the titan at Trost if I recall rightly) was absolutely perfect for example. Notable instances I myself really found moving were Levi's passing of his fallen comrades, as well as Eren's reflection over what had happened, and what his actions may or may not have done. I just feel that tied in really really well with Erwin's earlier comments about needing to take huge risks to win in war. Female Titan's emotions also started showing through as well which was great, nice seeing her fear of Eren, and I could have sworn she looked regretful just before she moved in to finish Eren off. As for my predictions, it's probably been the obvious guess this whole time but this episode really made me rule out anyone other than this woman as who Female Titan is. I'm sure most people already suspect her and have done since she showed up, but Armin's suspicions really ruled out anyone besides her in my opinion. I say all of that despite how obvious it seems because it led me to another possibility, however I think I might just keep that theory to myself and let others puzzle it out.
And now I shall try to stop clogging this thread up with my constant rabbiting of this series. Until next wednesday anyway. |

| - More AoT stuff:
There is honestly only one person who the titan can be. It is bloody obvious (ho ho ho). I very much want to find out what her motivation is, though: what do she and the other "intelligent" titans stand to gain from the extinction of humanity/Eren?
Also, lots of lovely character development being wiped out. My guesses for future deaths are Springer, who has contributed almost naff-all since they left training, and the blonde girl, whose quiet personality and big eyes just scream "victim".

| Yeah, that's something I've been wondering as well. - Titan spoilers:
I don't think they're trying to kill Eren though.

Sorry, wasn't clear: I don't know why they want him (alive), or the rest of humanity dead.

| Person of Interest season 1 which I was lent, just finished watching the first four episodes back to back. Very entertaining series so far and it's succeeded in making me want to watch more. |
